Another key feature is that because this is a full-ownership property, you won't have to deal with any of the timeshare salespeople or other types of vendors associated with many other Los Cabos resorts. You can step directly from our building to the gorgeous, 7-mile white sandy beach of San Jose del Cabo and the 2nd floor location of our condo provides an ideal balance of privacy and wonderful ocean views (but not so many steps if you prefer not to use the elevator). The 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo offers 2750 sq ft of living space (including a 650 sq ft private outdoor veranda) and sleeps up to 8 people. The expansive home is professionally-decorated in the "Hacienda" style featuring beautiful terracotta flooring, designer Mexican tilework in the bathrooms & kitchens along with gracious artwork. The fully stocked kitchen comes equipped with a blender, toaster oven, coffee machine, coffee cups, cutlery, dishware & glassware for our guests, as well as a full set of quality cookware & utensils for the gourmet chef. All bed linens are provided and there is no need to bring towels for the pool or beach as they are also included. Other features of this home include in-suite washer/dryer in the laundry room, UV water purification system throughout the complex, multi-zone central air-conditioning, two big screen HDTVs (a 55" in the Living Area & another big screen with HDMI inputs in the Master bedroom as a display for BYOD video streaming), free Wi-Fi, free local/long distance calling & an oversized private terrace with both dining & lounging areas overlooking the dramatic swimming pools with wonderful views of the beach and the Sea of Cortez. The Neighborhood: Las Mananitas resort is maintained in pristine condition with all of the amenities you would ever need for the perfect vacation. There are 4 expansive swimming pool areas with swim-up bars, multiple hot tubs/jacuzzis, a putting green, a newly updated & fully equipped fitness center, including an outdoor weight lifting area along with tennis & basketball courts (rackets and balls available). Other amenities include several outdoor seating, lounging & dining areas with poolside BBQ grills with outdoor kitchens & sinks to enjoy the ocean view while dining with friends and family. Hopefully you find some time during your stay to catch a little "siesta" under the palm trees in the hammock area! Ideally situated and within close walking distance (5 minute walk) to a modern shopping plaza where you will find a La Comer grocery supercenter (locals call it "Mega"), a sushi restaurant, Starbucks, Subway, McDonald's as well as several other local eateries (including our favourite local gelato outlet), Las Mananitas is also conveniently located to a great variety of shopping, fabulous gourmet & casual restaurants, & the historic charms of downtown San Jose Del Cabo are only blocks away. The new marina is a 15 minute drive away and if you are looking to for a world class party scene, the glittering nightlife of Cabo San Lucas is only a short 25 minute drive away along the glamorous Golden Corridor -- where you shouldn't be surprised if you run into the occasional Hollywood celebrity! When you (reluctantly) have to leave this corner of paradise, it is only 15-20 minutes by car to the San Jose Del Cabo airport. Getting Around: Where the desert meets the sea -- Los Cabos is one of the best beach & ocean vacation environments you will ever visit. It is no wonder that Cabo has become a "must-go" region for celebrity A-listers & Hollywood royalty. Whether your idea of the ideal vacation includes taking strolls on the beach, exploring the local organic foodie scene, fishing, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, whale watching, hiking, zip-lining, sky diving and more -- this luxurious 3 bedroom beachfront property is the ideal base for your perfect vacation! Other Things to Note: - There are no traditional cable or satellite TV channels in the condo. The TV in the living room is a smart TV's so it is connected to wifi so you can enjoy your own streaming service (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) at your leisure. The TV in the main bedroom you will need to bring your own firestick or smart TV connection if you wish to enjoy TV in the main bedroom. - Electricity in Mexico can be quite high so a reading of the electricity meter will be taken on the day of check in and again on the day of check out and the guest will be sent a charge of approximately 4 pesos per kilowatt. This tends to work out to be around $7-9 USD per day and guests will only be charged for what they use. - Due to condo rules, face masks must be worn at all times in the common areas of the resort. If this rule is not followed, the administration reserves the right to extend a monetary fine and guests may even face eviction from the condo for multiple offences.
