Affectionately named after our daughter, The Ivy House includes three, newly renovated suites. Similar to a traditional hotel, your room will be across the hall from one other suite. Both suites are located on the top floor of a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square foot, heritage home. The third suite is on the main floor. All areas are secured with keyed locks and very private. The shared hallways are very large and the ceilings are high, giving the spaces an airy and roomy feel. The home was recently renovated as a 'home-tel' and many extras were added to the renovation to follow this vision. All interior walls and flooring were insulated for maximum privacy and noise control. Each suite is outfitted with its own hot water tank so your tub will never run cold. Extra heat sources were added to each unit. The Ivy House is a two minute walk to the downtown core, shops, dining and waterfront. Hallway cafe: We have created a shared coffee and tea nook for guests in the upstairs hallway - just outside your suite. There is a small sitting area and a beverage set up that includes complimentary bottled and fizzy water, juice, local coffee and tea selections with all the fixings. Also included are small, sweet treats baked by myself. A toddler bed is available for little travellers but we do recommend that this suite would only be comfortable for one child + parents.
