Flathead Lake Hostel - The Glacier Room

The Glacier Room is a clean, well lit private room with a large window view of Flathead Lake and the Swan Mountains, complete with a custom-built Montana log Queen size bed. There is a shared (but private) half bathroom down the hall. There is a shared kitchen room available 24/7 which includes a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Enjoy a morning or evening yoga class without stepping outside of the building! Yoga Studio located on the premises. Glacier Perks is our favorite local breakfast and lunch spot, which is just 3 mins driving distance next to the beautiful public park/lake access. Guest has access to their private room, as well as the shared half bathroom, two private stalls in shower room and kitchenette. Please be courteous of other guests, as this is a shared space, and make sure to clean up after yourselves in each room. Please note the bathroom is only a half bath, the showers are located across the hall and have separate private stalls. We are available by phone to answer any questions you may have. We will also be there for most of the day. The Hostel is located just off the highway 93, equal distance between Lakeside and Somers, MT. A panoramic view of the swan mountains and Flathead lake from the front, and quiet forested setting to the back of the building. Parking is available on site, there are no public transportation services in the immediate area, though there are some local ride services. To include limited Lyft and Uber drivers in the area. Glacier National Park is 45 min to 1 Hour drive from the hostel. Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is about 20 Min up the Mountain from Lakeside, MT. Whitefish Mountain is appx 40 Min drive to the base of Big Mountain. Whitefish is appx 30 Min drive. Kalispell is North appx 15-20 min drive, including FCA Glacier International Airport. Missoula is to the South appx 2 hours. Please be courteous of other guests, as this is a shared space, and make sure to clean up after yourselves in each room. Please do not adjust the heat and/or AC unit. It is set to keep the space at a comfortable temperature year-round.
