Welcome to our cozy and clean all-season cottage in Winnipeg Beach - just one short block from the beach and marina! Enjoy this quaint lakeside community while staying at our stylishly-finished three bedroom, one bathroom retreat. Our cabin features a wood-burning stove, LED TV with satellite channels and in-ceiling speakers, a newly-renovated bathroom now featuring a large, spa-like walk-in shower, a Samsung washer and dryer, full kitchen, and a large yard with barbecue. We welcome our guests to our 900 sq. ft. private property located in a quiet area in the charming resort community of Winnipeg Beach. Our cottage is just a one hour drive from downtown Winnipeg and is the perfect all-season retreat. Enjoy quiet walks through the community and the nearby marina, and enjoy beach access just one block away. The open-concept living room/dining room/kitchen combination features a kitchen island with two bar stools, a dining room table that seats four, major appliances including a microwave, fridge and oven, and a wood-burning stove. Curl up on the large sectional and read a good book, watch satellite TV or a DVD on the LED TV and enjoy in-ceiling speaker sound. The cottage features three private bedrooms (two queen beds and one double bed), and a beautifully-renovated (spring 2021) washroom featuring a large walk-in, spa-like shower, larger vanity, and a Samsung washer and dryer. Enjoy a large yard with a south-facing front deck, and an outdoor fire pit and barbecue in the backyard. Check-in instructions will be provided to guests prior to their stay. We are always available by phone if you have any questions. Winnipeg Beach is a charming resort community located on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg. Both a winter and summer playground, the town offers a number of restaurants and grocery stores for your convenience. For our winter guests, the cottage is a 15-minute car ride from Chalet Beach - a world-renowned fishing colony - and one block away from lake access. During the summer, bring your bikes and ride around the community to discover all it has to offer. Your hosts recommend Europa (81 1st Avenue in Gimli) for delicious Greek food and the largest portions one must see to believe, as well as Brennivins Pizza Hüs (A-70 1st Avenue in Gimli) for pizza, pasta and wings. There’s a parking pad in the back of the cabin for parking (on Birch Avenue), or park your vehicle directly in front of the cabin on Maple Avenue (not on the adjacent side lane as you’ll block traffic). Guests will enjoy a fully functional kitchen stocked with pots, pans, slow cooker, panini press, toaster, cooking utensils, dinnerware and glassware. A coffee maker, coffee, filters and sugar are provided. Propane for the barbecue, clean linens, pillows and towels are supplied, as well as basic cleaning products. For our guests’ safety, we have installed a Nest smoke/CO detector, fire extinguisher and a first aid kit.
