Penthouse Berry Suite w/ AC Katamah Beach Property

Katamah is our beautifully designed collection of accommodations in a lush tropical garden right on the beach in central Treasure Beach, Frenchman's Bay. We have 3 Free-standing Modern Cabins in White Wood with screen porches, a collection of 3 Moroccan Villa rooms with Queen beds and en-suite bathrooms, as well as 3 spacious and luxurious Ocean view Suites. The Berry Suite is a wonderfully open, airy, light-filled space, which is unbelievably peaceful and the perfect place to spend some much needed quiet time. The Berry Suite is the most exclusive suite, and is often referred to as the Honeymoon or Penthouse Suite. The substantial porch is fully screened and offers ample seating with mountain and ocean views. The suite opens up onto the private veranda that is made with bamboo. It has a built in seating area, hammock, and set of bar stools at the kitchenette breakfast counter. This is the breeziest room on the property. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size fridge with freezer, bar sink, cappuccino machine, electric skillet, dishes and cutlery for cutting up fruit or preparing light meals. The bathroom features a beautiful glass shower stall with a luxurious spa-like rain shower. Surrounded by bougainvillea and fruit trees prepare to wake up to the beautiful sounds of singing birds & to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. All our accommodations have various features and styles and they are all unique experiences. We have 3 Cabins and 3 Suites, which are well suited for a long-term rental. The Cabins and Villas all connect to a central path which leads just steps away to the beachfront, a bougainvillea soaked two tier Moroccan seaside lounge. Shade and sun seating areas are dappled within the lush tropical plants. In our oceanfront lounge you'll find hammocks and sun beds, a spacious outdoor living room with the surrounding view of the distant, deep blue horizon between the Caribbean sky and sea. Take a walk up to the garden and choose a book from our collection, find a spot in the garden or come back down to the beachfront and enjoy an ocean view hammock while you unwind! Cook breakfast your favorite way in the shared kitchen, which opens at 8am and closes at 11pm. Our large communal kitchen has cold drinks including water, beer and soda which are available for sale, along with all the necessary appliances for preparing your own meals. All guests have access to all communal spaces and the property is strictly guests only, which makes it very safe and secure. The guesthouse is run by Monika Osborne, her loving family, and a friendly local staff. Katamah is a caring environment that offers a comfortable paradise vacation home. Katamah is a retreat, our home is situated in relaxed and chill Treasure Beach, in our bay we are surrounded by 8+ restaurants and cafes serving fresh food through out the day, we are often making regular appointments with farmers to sell their produce weekly at the yard, we also have two convenience shops next door in town and one grocery store within 5 minutes drive. We are 45 minutes drive from the heavenly YS falls waterfalls and a 25-minute boat ride from our shores to the famous Pelican Bar. These spaces are a sanctuary and ideal for any one looking to vacation to or work remotely from a private, natural countryside beach home here on the South Coast. At Katamah you are just a few minutes walk to the restaurants and shops in Frenchman's Bay. Transport and tours to local sites can be arranged with reservations. It’s a two hour drive from the airport in Montego Bay and it is a 4 hour drive from the Airport in Kingston to Treasure Beach. We are located 1 hour from Mandeville bus stations and 45 minutes from Luana Black River Bus Stations.
