The beach is only 5 min walk away Our La Garza Suite B & B is 1 bedroom,with modern bathroom for 2 persons. This suit has a large lounge with its own private entrance, plus a PRIVATE deck with table,chairs, umbrella PLEASE NOTE: Breakfast Plan is now optional. Max 2 persons,Bed either KING SIZE OR 2 X SINGLE BEDS This suite has it's own outside private entrance. The bedroom is large with adjoining modern bathroom with shower only. The vanity is modern with plenty of space and is well lit. The lounge is large, with a Fridge/Freezer, microwave, and Electric Kettle for coffee and tea. We do not allow COOKING in this suite only rewarming of prepared foods. We provide Glassware, Crockery and Flatware. The fridge is stocked with milk, some mixers, fruit tray, plus other goodies. We also have Free Wifi throughout the property, Cable T.V. , Security System, small library plus games. Telephone for local calls only. Private deck with table, chairs and umbrella. Our pool and deck are open from 7 AM till 6 PM daily. Come and relax pool side in a chaise lounge in the sun. Or perhaps you would rather shade? We have both. We supply both beach and pool towels. Tennis and Squash courts are by reservation only. Golf driving range is for guest who have there own equipment. We do not supply squash or racquet ball equipment. We do have loaner tennis racquets, and balls are sold at cost. $7.50 per sleeve of 3. Or bring your own. Golf balls and mats supplied. We also have a putting mat and a ball machine. Bocce Ball is also available to play on the lawn. Free use of Laundry between 9 am and 5 pm We supply soaps, etc... . Beach: We have beach towels and beach chairs and beach umbrellas we will loan you. The beach is only a 5 to 7 minute walk from the front gate. Yes, we will guide you should you need direction. We are local and can save you much time and trouble by telling you where, how and when. We have a special evening usually for our guest, where we will serve our special Swizzle or a wine of your choice along with cheese and other nibbles. As you are in our B & B we will recommend several restaurants in the area and in some cases will drive you there should our schedule permit. We live in a very quiet neighbourhood on a private road. There is little traffic and you can hear the ocean and the birdsong. In spring you'll see the Humpback Whales migrating to the Arctic, as they move north, sometimes they will stop just off of the house, as there is a very deep spot there, which they like to rest and frolic in. The neighbours are all friendly and quiet, which is how we like it. The beach is just a 5 min walk away. i.e. John Smith's Bay. Spittal Pond Reserve is a 10 min walk away. This is one of Bermuda's largest reserves and is a beautiful nature walk. This is also where the Spanish and the Portuguese landed in the 14 and 15 hundreds. Mid Ocean Golf Club and Rosewood Bermuda G.C. only 5 min away. Harrington Hundreds Grocery only 3 min away. Choice of 3 bus routes only a 5 to 7 min walk to the bus stops. Two of our favourite local restaurants are Sul Verd'e at Rosewood Bermuda, and the "Pink Beach Club" at The Loren" hotel, are only 5 min and 3 minutes away. "Twizy": Electric Mini Cars for 2 persons. These are new to Bermuda in 2017 and are now very popular. If you want to rent one it is best to reserve well in advance of 2 months before your arrival or better still when have decided to come to BERMUDA. Go online for, for more information. We have installed a charging station on property for your convenience. Minimal charge will apply. There are now several Car Rental businesses in Bermuda. Go on line for full listings. i.e. Bermuda Car Rentals. Taxi: We have a very dependable Taxi Service we use. They are well versed in Bermuda's history, polite, well dressed and have modern taxis with air conditioning. They will do tours and charge by the hour or if you wish to go somewhere, the meter must be on by law. A 3 hr tour is $150 U.S. and most people will give a tip should they enjoy the tour. Up to 4 or 6 persons depending on the model of the taxi. Limousine Service: BEST IN BERMUDA. We can not list the URL's on this site. We will give you the site, once you've booked. Buses: One must have either, tickets, tokens or the correct change. NO BILLS 2 Routes to chose from . In this area they operate for 7 am till 7 pm Hamilton is 20 min by bus. St. George is 25 min by bus. The Royal Navel Dock Yard is 1 1/2 hrs by bus. By bus and transferring to Ferry in Hamilton, about 1 Hr. MoPed If you are not a confident rider on 2 wheels, we suggest you use alternative transport. Our roads are very busy these days and there seem to be far too many crazy people riding these mopeds. They are convenient, but can be very dangerous if you are not used to 2 wheels and driving on the left hand side of the road. Should you decide to rent Mopeds, we would recommend, Oleander Cycles as they will deliver and pick up on departure. You will need a current drivers license to rent either. Ferry: These run daily and are very convenient especially if one is visiting the Royal Naval Dockyard in, Ireland Island. We would recommend taking just a little joyride around the Hamilton Harbour, as it is very picturesque especially on a nice sunny day. SO AS THERE ARE NO SURPRISES WHEN YOU CHECK OUT, WE HAVE INCLUDED THE 4.5% GOVERNMENT OCCUPANCY TAX IN OUR PRICE. (Many do not) We are a NON-SMOKING PROPERTY . INDOORS AND OUTDOORS.
