The Tinsmith Suite is on the second floor of Gosling Cottage, a restored 1870's heritage home adjacent to the main building. Jubilee House is where breakfast is hosted each morning with a seating at 7:30 am and 9:00 am. Each room has maintained its original historical elements seamlessly mixed with clean, contemporary additions to ensure absolute comfort. Our staff is committed to providing you with exceptional service during your stay to make sure you enjoy every moment. Please be aware that guests accessing the upstairs suite must pass through your sitting area (comprised of arm chairs, mini-fridge, kettle, coffee press etc) however, your bedroom and ensuite area are completely private with a locked door. Our inn is comprised of 10 luxurious suites in 4 beautifully appointed restored heritage homes in the historic Russelltown neighbourhood of Bonavista. With a history of serving guests for over a decade, Russelltown Inn welcomes you with a tradition of Newfoundland hospitality, rich heritage, and all the conveniences a modern traveler requires. We follow a decentralized inn model. The concept is simple, rooms are all part of the same accommodation, but are not part of the same building, offering visitors more privacy. Multiple restored heritage buildings will be used as accommodations and all the buildings together make up the Russelltown Inn. This allows guests the privacy of a hotel with the charm of a bed and breakfast. We've tailored each room, our hospitality and amenities to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We hope that our attention to detail shines through each moment of your stay. The ensuite feature standard amenities with luxurious bath products from East Coast Glow, coffee from Bonavista Coffee Company, comfortable towels, mini fridge, microwave, tea & coffee maker, and Apple TV with Netflix on HD flat screen televisions. Suites also offer a little something extra with sitting areas. You have use of a dining room, a small lounge and laundry with assistance of the staff. The kitchen is not available for your use. Staff will greet you at the Jubilee House between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm and give you your key and take you to your room. During your stay, the head housekeeper and concierge are available to assist you with anything you need. While they are not on the property at all times, they are always close by and available by phone or email. The Inn is located in the quiet, historic residential neighbourhood of “Russelltown”, just minutes from Downtown Bonavista and within walking distance to the harbour, shops, museums, and an array of great restaurants. It is easy to get around Bonavista by car, with ample parking at all attractions. The downtown area of Bonavista is very walkable and is a great way to see the town. There is no public transit in Bonavista, but taxis are available 24/7.
