Alaskan Log Cabin in Small Village

Traditionally rustic log cabin located on the main street of Nenana, one block off the Parks Hwy. Conveniently located 1 hour south of Fairbanks Airport and 1.5 hours north of Denali National Park. Nenana is a quiet village located on the Tanana and Nenana Rivers which are a 5 minute walk from your log home. Enjoy the slower pace of a small community and see how life is authentically lived in Alaska. (Although we have provided you with some extra modern luxuries such as running water and dvds.) The Cabin will be space to remember, from the eclectic book collection to the totem watching over your dreams, this unique home is a joy to explore and experience. There is a front deck to enjoy the slow pace of town or an area behind the cabin with a small fire pit and chill out area. We are 420 friendly, if you would like to smoke tobacco we ask that you dispose of your butts and smoke outside. You will have use of the entire cabin, a huge parking area for motorhomes, free book exchange next door, and beautiful deck to enjoy the midnight sun. I am usually around and looking forward to greeting my guests, but as summer is the time to be on the move in Alaska, sometimes my Uncle Jory will be the host. Please bring along your sense of adventure and pioneering attitude. Because that is what Alaska is all about!
