A tranquil oceanfront escape for couples and solo adventurers... Ours is a unique community with quaint freehold condo cottages on a vast tract of oceanfront land. Wake-up in bed to a lovely view of a luscious green landscape that melds with the emerald green and blue ocean, sip a hot cup of coffee on the porch, enjoy a sunset cocktail by the ocean front pool, break a sweat in a friendly game of tennis, or take a blanket out to the lawn under the palm trees for breathtaking star gazing. OUR GUESTROOM Ours is an entirely self-contained space with a private entry, private bedroom, private bathroom, en suite kitchen amenities, and on-site laundry facilities. Our Guestroom does NOT have access to the rest of our home. (The room has a view to the ocean, and the pool is a hop-skip-jump away.) THE BEDROOM Private bedroom with private en suite bathroom, private entry, and a private porch space. The room and porch look out over a palm tree speckled landscape to the beautiful Caribbean Sea. Queen bed with pillow top, 4 pillows, linen, a duvet, and an extra blanket. If you’re staying for longer than 9 days, we will change the linen on the 6th day. A/C which is set at a refreshingly chilled setting. A dining and/or laptop nook. Clothes hangers including skirt & pant hangers. EN SUITE KITCHEN AMENITIES Mini fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee pot, purified water dispenser, dishware, glassware, cups, cutlery, bowls, bottle opener, can opener, cutting board and knife, etc. A selection of coffee pods, tea pods, hot chocolate, sugar,artificial sweetener, creamer, salt & pepper. Starter Snack Kit: Microwaveable popcorn, oatmeal, apples, peanuts, granola bars, and potato chips. Cold Bottled water in fridge to greet you. Dishwashing liquid, dishtowel, dishcloth, and paper towels. EN SUITE BATHROOM Hair dryer, bath towels, face cloths. Liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, hand/body cream, toilet paper. (Plus a basket full of toiletries including suntan lotion, after sun gel, razors, shaving cream, mosquito repellent, shower cap, etc.) Iron, ironing board, folding clothes dryer for your beach towels. PRIVATE PORCH AREA Private entry to the guest space is accessed from the porch. Gorgeous view of the ocean. 2 chairs and table. Lots of plants. Candles and lighter. PARKING 1 free parking spot located within a few steps of Guestroom. Please refer to our Driving and Parking Directions for the location of your parking space. INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT Free WiFi. 2 wireless speakers that can be used to play music streamed to your devices. A variety of books written about the Cayman Islands. Games and puzzles. A basket of local magazines, maps, and tourist guides which together provide just about anything you need to know about Cayman. A smart television offering Netflix, YouTube, Amazon (for guests with their own Amazon accounts), or airplay from your device. OUTDOOR AMENITIES & FUN A quiet and beautiful swimming pool by the ocean. Beach towels. A tennis court. Tennis rackets and a tennis ball. Frisbee. Yoga mats which can be used for outdoor exercising or for nighttime stargazing. A comprehensive Atlas which details our road system; a copy of the local Yellow Pages Picnic Basket, reusable plastic dishes, glasses & cutlery, tea towel & table cloth for your day trips. Beach bags, beach umbrella, beach chairs, beach blanket, 2 coolers, mosquito repellent. Umbrellas for rainy day treks. LAUNDRY FACILITIES Laundry room located in a separate nearby cottage. Wash loads: $2.00 KYD / Dry loads: $1.00 KYD (quarters required Laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets for two loads. Laundry basket in room. SECURITY A safe, with a code you will set, for your valuables. Our home is protected with security lights and a camera system – while we do have cameras to capture potential intruders, they have been situated so as to provide our guests with privacy (no cameras in the guest space itself). Guest room entry door is secured with a heavy duty security hinge which can be locked from inside. ENTRY Entry to our Guestroom is self-serve. Once you book, we will forward driving directions, parking directions, and entry directions. Guests have access to the grounds, the pool, and the tennis court. Our guest space is entirely private and does NOT have access to the rest of our home. If you seek privacy, ours is the guest room for you. Having lived here for a combined 30 years, we are extremely familiar with the history, places, people, food and culture of these beautiful Cayman Islands. If we’re on Island, we are here to answer any questions you may have. Think of us as your personal concierge service. Of course you’ll want to do the touristy things, but we can also point you in the direction of those gems that are privy to the locals. We live on site so, again, if we're on Island, we will be readily available to answer your questions. We understand that if you're staying with us, you're the type of traveller who enjoys your privacy. Don't worry, we value our privacy also, so we will leave you be. But if you need us, you can knock on our door, What's App us, iMessage us, text us, email us via the AirBnb site, or give us a ring. Our Guestroom is in a great central location. From here you can go east and west to reach desired destinations conveniently. Also, while AirBnB picks up our location as being in Savannah, in fact, WE ARE IN George Town. While we are an ocean front property, we are also conveniently located on a main road. A gorgeous swimming pool that isn't tucked away between buildings, but rather, looks out to the ocean; or walk into the ocean for a leisurely swim or some awe inspiring snorkelling. A great tennis court. Walking distance to Spotts Beach (or a 15 second drive), a quiet and beautiful beach, where you can swim with sea turtles. A 15 minute drive to Seven Mile Beach and Camana Bay. A 12 minute drive to airport and downtown George Town. A 5 minute drive to a great new groceraunt where you have a choice of freshly prepared healthy, gourmet meals to go, freshly squeezed juices and smoothies, a bakery, Italian thin-crust pizzas, sushi, and coffee bar. 2 grocery stores, 2 liquor stores, 2 pharmacies, 3 banks, restaurants, bars, fast food eateries, and dry cleaners within a 5 minute drive. A 5 minute drive to Pedro Castle. A 10 minute drive to Smith Cove. A 25 minute drive to West Bay A 12 minute drive to the nearest hospital. A 45 minute drive to Rum Point. While public transport is available, we strongly recommend that our visitors rent a vehicle. Unfortunately, Cayman is neither pedestrian or cyclist friendly, for the most part, and we recommend against cycling or walking long distances on any of the main roads. Our guest room comfortably fits a maximum of two adults (minimum age requirement: 25 years old). Individuals 18 years of age are permitted if accompanied by an individual older than 25. We love our 4-legged friends, but unfortunately our allergies do not - no pets please. No smoking - not even on the porch or anywhere near the condo. No events, parties, loud music, or loud noise - ours is a quiet community.
