Cuarto Verde Nogal
The name Loohvana has being inspire by the old Zapotec name of the Etla's valley, meaning " valley of seedling". I have four bedrooms of different size and occupancy. Each have their own bathroom, beds, working and resting areas. Throughout the house the guests can share and enjoy several libraries, reading and working areas, a great collection of art works, terraces and gardens with beautiful views. The Green Walnut Room has its private terrace that looks out upon a 100 year old walnut tree where you can see the sun rise and on the other side of the room you can view the sun set too. The room is spacious and includes two double beds, a well illuminated working area and has its how bathroom. You arrive on the second floor by a large wooden stairway made out of "huanacaxtle" , share with the other guests a hallway that has a large working table, a libraries and a reading area, a terrace with a beautiful view that can accommodate a large party of peoples. Breakfast and Wireless internet is included. We have now 4 dogs and 2 cats roaming the property in addition to 2 turtles in an aquarium. The room is cleaned every 3 days. As I live in the same household, it will be my pleasure to personally meet you and answer any questions of local interest. San Agustin Etla, is just 20 Km from Oaxaca. It has a spectacular views of the valley of Etla and Oaxaca. It is a very calm and friendly. There is a Art Center and many others natural atractions. There are collectivos, public taxis, from Oaxaca to San Agustin Etla and operate from 6 am to 9 pm. They pass right infront of the gate. You can also ride your bike or enjoy the walks around the village. The beauty and the open space of Villa Loohvana is very appealing to every friends and guests that visit us. Another aspect of the villa is that there are special containers in every space for our friends and guests to maintain their waste separated and in doing so not produce garbage.
