It is a great place for everything this area has to offer: Day trips to the world heritage site Oaxaca city, the colorful Sunday market in Tlacolula. Historic sites nearby Mitla, Yagul, Monte Alban are to be explored. Stunning sunsets and hammocks under the big old tree. Wander to the beautiful mountains. North, there are lovely hiking trails. Ride on the bike to the nearby water-reservoirs, Bird watching, views of native plants. A friendly corner store is in the next block. Daily tortillas and sweet bread delivered; fresh fruits and vegetables several times a week. Within walking distance, a nice daily market with a good selection of regional products, like Oaxaca cheese, spices and familiar restaurants, pharmacies, ATM-machine, will cover all necessities and frequently cheap transportation to Oaxaca city. Fully furnished and equipped with dishes, kitchenware, pots, towels, bed linen and warm blankets. Free Wi-Fi, gas, water, electricity included. Private parking and laundry facilities on site. Situated in a safe, friendly neighbourhood. Pick-up service from/to the airport or bus station. We have a common compost area and we have built a high bed where the guests can cultivate vegetables. Guests can work in the garden area and grow vegetables or do some creative work when wanted. The area is excellent for hiking and cycling. Our guests can use the guest bike to explore the surrounding area. For any question or if you need help, you can contact the owners who live on the same property. English, German and Spanish spoken. Daily tortillas and sweet bread delivered; a fruit truck with fresh fruits and vegetables comes two times a week and goes through the village. Within 20 minutes walking distance, a nice daily market with a good selection of regional products, like Oaxaca cheese, spices, familiar restaurants, pharmacies, ATM-machine, will cover all necessities and frequently cheap transportation to Oaxaca city. 15 minutes driving to MACROPLAZA/Walmart; 30 minutes driving to Oaxaca-city Frequently cheap transportation to Oaxaca city from the early morning until late in the night (around 15 minutes walk) with public bus or shared cabs. In the next block of our small village are taxis that also go to Oaxaca, but only at certain daytime. Moreover, we can arrange transportation from/to the airport or bus station. The ADO first class bus station is 8 miles away, the international airport Oaxaca Xoxocotlán is 15 miles away. We have friendly dogs and cats. The pets live in our own house, not in the rental unit.
