The house sits next to a popular restaurant that overlooks the lake. Hubbard is a small village like community with a theatre and a public boat access. The village of Hubbard was the county seat preceding the railroad that expedited Park Rapids to take over. This house remains on the original carriage trail leading through the town. Just down the road is the old, old Hubbard school 🏫 house that closed in the early 60s but many people of the community still remember attending their elementary years there. The closest town is Park Rapids, where you will need to travel to for groceries, gas, etc... It is just 8 miles north of this location. Check out our guidebook for our favorite places and activities!
