Copper Bluffs Cabin overlooking Discovery Passage!

Copper Bluffs! Quadra Island overlooking Discovery Passage in British Columbia. Noted for it's whale watching, just come sit on one of the bluffs and watch the amazing sunsets and view a show the whales often like to provide as we have resident whales! There are plenty of trails if you're a bird lover, we have several resident Eagles and Falcons that like to sit and watch you from their perch. Adjoining freshwater lakes are just a 10 minute drive from the property, offering trout fishing, Currently we have a loft style cottage which offers sleeping for 4 adults, the loft has a queen bed, living room has a pull out queen sofa couch. It has a full functioning kitchen, full bath with shower, wood fireplace for those cold evenings and a fire bowl on the front deck to enjoy while gazing over the passage views. We can help host any activity.. just ask! I also live on the property and available to assist the guests with any arrangements needed to make their holiday one of the best! Copper Bluffs is on the map for it's history for minning copper and gold back in the 50's. Our ridge is 350 feet up from the water that is dived often to view the wall underwater as well as seeing all the octopus that reside there. It is also a feeding and resting area for the orcas and humpback whales. There are a lot of trails for hiking or biking in the area, a vehicle would be needed as we are not in walking distance of the ferry or other sites to visit. During the winter months, we do sometimes get snow, so AWD or 4x4 would be a benefit.
