The Bright Yellow House on Meadows Point

The Bright Yellow House, located in the charming community of Meadows, offers guests a spectacular view of the beautiful Bay of Islands with the Blow Me Down Mountain Range as the backdrop. Approximately 25 minute drive from the City of Corner Brook and 90 minutes to Gros Morne National Park. The Bright Yellow House is a great home base to easily access all that the West Coast of Newfoundland has to offer. Or just grab a book and sit back and RELAX... During the winter months, the Bright Yellow House, becomes home base for SnoXcapes Snowmobile Adventures, providing guests with airport pick up and drop off, snowmobile rentals, accommodations and three meals a day. Inquire for pricing if interested. Guests have full access to the top two levels of the Bright Yellow House. If additional rooms are required the lower level has 2 more bedrooms (2 queen beds, 1 double and 1 twin), a bathroom and a full kitchen. Family members are also available to answer any questions you may have The Bright Yellow House on Meadows Point is mid way on the North Shore of the Bay of Islands (Route 440) and is surrounded by many great hiking trails, boat tours and natural beauty. A short distance from the water, and across from 8 acres of property owned by us, guests are welcome to find their perfect spot to sit and listen to the ocean. If you are looking for a very laid back, community -oriented stay you will be enthralled by what our little community of Meadows has to offer. Don't be afraid to mingle with the neighbours as they can be your biggest resource of things to do and see. Our community has a take-out/convenience store, an outdoor skating rink and wonderful community spirit. The next community to the East of us has a gas station, convenience and liquor store. Meadows does not have public transit so a vehicle will be required to get here Please note that the house has animal pelts as part of the décor.
