An entire country farm house suitable for four adults and two children. It is located five minutes from the Newfoundland Ferry, twenty minutes from Sydney and forty-five minutes from Fortress Louisbourg in one direction and in another direction ,the starting point of the Cabot Trail. It is an ideal location for anyone working short term in Sydney as it is a short divided highway drive of 20 minutes. We are in a lovely setting, minutes away from all amenities. Enjoy our beautiful sunsets! It is a lovely old, but renovated and updated home on a large lot. Ample parking is available. The trees provide excellent shade in the summer and the sunsets here are beautiful. We are close to a number of beaches, trails and tourist attractions. A local beach, Groves Point Provincial Park, is only ten minutes drive. Maximum 6 guests! The whole house! You have a living room, family room/dining room, kitchen, two private bedrooms and one semi-private bedroom, a small reading nook, bathroom and laundry area in the basement. We are next door if needed. It is largely a rural community but we are very handy to all amenities. There are restaurants and gas stations near us and a mall less than ten minutes away. There is no real public transportation near us. Taxi service is available. The house is completely furnished and has everything you need in a home away from home. All major and minor appliances including washer, dryer and dishwasher are here. Local telephone, wifi and cable are at your disposal. We have also provided coffee, tea, sugar, whitener, maple syrup, lemon juice, olive oil and some basic spices. Important to note that the house is best for no more than 4 adults and two children. The main bedroom is large and has a queen size bed, the second bedroom is smaller, but also has a queen bed, the third bedroom is semi private and features a double bed. It only has one door and in order to use the washroom , guests from the other two rooms need to go through this area to access it. There is a Barbecue at your disposal as well as out door dining table and chairs.
