Great value bright, airy apartment in Sandy Ground

The apartment is a short walk (3 mins) from the beach at Sandy Ground, Anguilla. Close to (5 mins) restaurants, nightlife, port and family-friendly activities. Approx. 8 min drive from the Airport and 12 min from Blowing Point Ferry. A 2nd floor apartment with a private entrance, large balconies and views over the neighbouring salt pond. The apartment is ideal for couples or solo adventurers experiencing Anguilla on a budget. The apartment has been recently updated to a high standard with brand new kitchen appliances. The apartment offers great value accommodation with all of the key facilities a guest could need in an enviable Sandy Ground location, 3 mins away from the beach. There is 1 bedroom with a super-king bed, 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen, living/dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing meals, gas stove, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a sofa bed in the living room. Both the bedroom and open plan kitchen / living area have double height vaulted ceilings making the space bright and airy. The apartment has 2 balconies which are great for lounging in the sun and dining alfresco. All windows and doors have mosquito netting. Seymours' House is split into 2 independent apartments with my father living in the ground floor apartment. You'll have access to the entire top floor apartment which has a completely separate entrance. You are also free to use the yard i.e. for BBQ's and sunbathing etc. Although I won't be available in person, my father lives in the ground floor apartment and will be there to help with any questions you have during your stay. I will be able to help via phone or email. Sandy Ground village is a fantastic spot, it is the most vibrant neighbourhood on the island with a great selection of restaurants, bars and night life. The apartment is a 5-10 min walk away from all this, located in a peaceful location at the western end of the bay. At Sandy Ground you have an abundance of activities available; swimming, sailing, snorkelling, diving, kayaking, or taking a boat trip to Sandy Island, Prickly Pear, Dog Island, or Little Bay. There is a sailing school and PADI dive centre conveniently located in the village. Everything in Sandy Ground is within walking distance. However to get around and see many of Anguilla's other beautiful beaches a rental car is a must as public transportation is not good and taxis are expensive. There is parking at the house. The apartment is close to a port, which means trucks do drop off containers nearby a few times a day. Anguilla was also hit by a major hurricane in September 2017, we lost our palm trees and much of the island is recovering from the disaster. However, the beaches remain beautiful and the sea crystal blue.
