Private Lakefront Family Cottage

Located 20 minutes south of Haliburton, our 3 bedroom cottage on Gooderham Lake is the perfect place to make memories with your family. Situated on 150ft of south-facing private waterfront, the shoreline is sandy and shallow with gorgeous sunsets. Gooderham Lake is quiet with relatively little boat traffic. Unlimited WIFI in and around the cottage. *Due to COVID-19 we are asking all guests to bring their pillows/sheets/blankets/towels/dish towels. There is a paddle boat, 2 standup paddle boards, 2 kayaks, and a canoe for fun on the water. There are lifejackets for adults, please bring appropriate sized lifejackets for your children. There is a waterfront fire pit. We have lots of chairs by the waterfront, along with a patio table and an offset umbrella. On the cottage deck, you will find a propane BBQ along with a 6 seat patio table located in a screened-in gazebo. Unlimited WIFI in and around the cottage. Guests have access to the entire cottage You can reach us via cell phone during your stay if you need anything. Walking trails nearby. LCBO, General Store and Gas Station within a 10 minute walk. The General Store carries everything you may need from snacks, groceries and firewood to Kawartha Dairy Ice cream! You can also rent movies! Next door is a Chinese/American restaurant when you don't want to cook. Located 10 minutes from Kinmount where you will find a farmers market, pizza place, chip truck, and the famous movie theatre. 20 minutes from the larger town of Haliburton. Haliburton Highlands (our area) is the Geo-Caching Capital of Canada- great fun for any age! You would need a car to travel around the area. You can take a short walk to the general store. Please ensure you bring linens, pillows, blankets, towels, and dish towels as they are not provided.
