Casa de Campo near the city (best of 2 worlds)

My grandparent's 50 years house is located in Guaynabo in a family gated area (country area). 15 minute drive to San Juan, beaches, mall and mayor roads to initiate a trip anywhere on the island. The house was remodeled with love and care. A few original items were left to reconcile with the new. Surrounded by nature, flowers, birds. A one-story house perfect for those in search of some fresh environment away from the city stress but close enough to get everything you need thru a short drive The house has a modern master bedroom with a Queen bed, a private bathroom, and a walking closet. The second room has a bunk bed with a twin and a full-size bed. Open space type of house, barn doors, natural light all around, provides a warm and at ease feeling. An escape room facing the outdoor terrace provides the perfect scenario for the reader, the philosopher, or the creative mind to connect with nature. A wood terrace to enjoy a morning coffee watching the sunrise or an afternoon nap at the hamaca below the terrace is highly recommended. Next to the house there is a second terrace shared with the other members of the community area (3 other families) and is available for our guests as well. The house is located in a family-gated community area. The main gate and main road (after the gate) are shared with 3 other houses. As a true Casa de Campo you will hear or meet with, chickens, roosters, birds, coqui, lizards, and a few insects (the whole 9 yards). Otherwise, it wouldn't be called "el campo" but not to worry, none of them of lethal nature. Since is a gated area it is safe for children to play outside due to the very low traffic. This is also convenient for a dog if your family includes one. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a gas range. All you need is there. Next to the house, you can find oregano and recao spices that you can grab for free to add to your meals. Laundry - washer and dryer and detergents are available in case you need to use them. Also for your use, you will find beach chairs, a beach umbrella and a cooler. Books, table games, and other extras are for my guests to use and enjoy. This house has so many memories for me and my family. I am confident that you can enjoy and create some memories of your trip as well. Second terrace, by the house is shared with the community (3 families) and available for the guests I live in the island at a short drive, so I will be a call away and always available by phone. Next door neighbors are family members and will be happy to assist in case there is a need at hand. Green roof house- Joaquin (my father) is a retired history teacher. He dedicates his time now to frame art (house art are his courtesy), play guitar, listen to Nueva Trova and Puerto Rico folk music “musica jibara” and take care of Migdalia (spouse) and his old dog Leo. Migdalia (my mother) is a retired Dean of Education from a Puertorrican university. Love to dance , cook outside and gardening (flowers and plants around are her courtesy). White 2 stories house- Dalia is my sister and best friend. Talking to her would be like talking to me...literally. She is an avid reader and traveler. If you need an office space, she has a co-working space available in San Juan. Ask. She has a beautiful boy named Alex who is a gamer, you-tuber, fan of the country, paddle boarder and horse rider... the day hours are not enough with him. He might seek for your kids to play around !! Lovi is their dog and he always want to play. Last house on the gated community is from my cousins Javier (downstairs) and Lourdes and her son Niko (upstairs). Sole, is a very faithful free dog that belongs to everyone in the community, she visits everyone. If I am there she won't leave my side. She will bark to the gas truck or any motorcycle that approaches. Guaynabo is a very good town. Great restaurants, bars and bakery's that you can go to. I will definitely recommend you a few. You can rent a car or use Uber. San Juan Airport is a 16 minute drive from the house. (10 miles). You need a car for this listing. No Smoking or Vaping is allowed inside the house. A $300.00 fee will be charged for extra cleaning to those guests that do not comply with this House Rule.
