The name Loohvana has being inspire by the old Zapotec name of the Etla's valley, meaning " valley of seedling". I have four bedrooms of different size and occupancy. Each have their own bathroom, beds, working and resting areas. Throughout the house the guests can share and enjoy several libraries, reading and working areas, a great collection of art works, terraces and gardens with beautiful views. The Green Walnut Room has its private terrace that looks out upon a 100 year old walnut tree where you can see the sun rise. From the same room you can view the sun set too. The room is spacious and includes two double beds, a well illuminated working area and has its how bathroom. You arrive on the second by a large wooden stairway made out of "huanacaxtle" and share a hallway with the other guest of Villa Loohvana that has a large working table, reading area, libraries and a huge terrace with a beautiful view that can accommodate a large party of peoples. The Yellow Sunset Room, the smallest of the house, has two large windows facing the setting sun. It includes one double bed, its own bathroom, a working area and a small living room. Our second floor's guests can share the hallway with a large working table, reading area and libraries together with a large adjoining terrace with a beautiful view The Blue Monte Alban Room can receive a large family or a large group of visitor. It is set on the second floor across the terrace. It has two double beds and two single beds, a large closet, working and resting area and a bathroom with a tub. The Blue Room presides on Monte Alban and has a delightful view on the valley of Oaxaca. The Terrace Room is set in one of the gardens and has its how individual entrance and green space. This wide bedroom faces the west and include two double beds, living and working area, and a spacious bathroom. Ideal for longer stay and private time in your own Eden. Breakfast and Wireless internet is included. We have now 4 dogs and 2 cats roaming the property in addition to 2 turtles in an aquarium. The room is cleaned every 3 days. As I live in the same household, it will be my pleasure to personally receive, meet you and answer any questions of local interest. San Agustin Etla, is just 20 Km from Oaxaca. It has a spectacular views of the valley of Etla and Oaxaca. It is a very calm and friendly. There is a Art Center and many others natural atractions. There are collectivos, public taxis, from Oaxaca to San Agustin Etla and operate from 6 am to 9 pm. They pass right infront of the gate. You can also ride your bike or enjoy the walks around the village. I love it when my guests meet each other en Villa Loohvana, interchange personal or general information, share common interests and even go sight seeing together. At my guests's request, I can accommodate a space in the garden for any special activities, like family, friends, business or thematic reunions, yoga or painting sessions or a meal. I have available tables, chairs and the necessary utilities to prepare and serve food for approximately 20 peoples. So far I have had New Year's Eve, birthday and wedding reunions.
