**New** Our charming home, known as "The Blanc House" was built in 1904. This home was built by the first resident and preacher of Julian, F.L. Blanc and it is the first home in Juilan to have an indoor bath! We are located in the heart of Julian, within half a block walking distance to Main Street which offers several shops, restaurants and more! The Space: Explore everything Julian has to offer in this 1400+ sf historic home with modern amenities and conveniences. This is a fantastic place for families, a quick romantic getaway for couples or the perfect spot for solo travelers to relax and unwind. Upon arriving to Julian, you will notice our home is in a fantastic location, within very close proximity to the charming historic town but also in a private serene setting for you and your group to enjoy! Our home has been freshly painted and newly installed luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. It offers many original features (doors, pocket door, windows, etc.) which will add to your overall experience of staying in this historic home! Guests may use the home, porch and outdoor backyard and deck. Other things to note: *Must be at least 25 years old to book this listing. *This is NOT a party house. *No animals allowed. We love family pets, however, we want to maintain a safe environment for everyone, including those with pet allergies. Thank you for your understanding. *Quiet hours as mandated by San Diego County, 10pm-7am. *San Diego County REQUIRES a TOT (hotel bed tax) of 8% to be added onto each listing per reservation, not to include cleaning fees. For example: $100/night x 4 Nights = $400 + TOT = $32 TOT tax. Total of $432 + cleaning and AirBNB fee. This TOT hotel tax will be requested from us approximately 3-5 days prior to your stay and is not included in your original booking amounts. *Please note, this home is over 100 years old. We unfortunately do not have central air conditioning, however, the home should stay quite comfortable as we have ceiling fans in the main living room, den and one bedroom. We will also provide small portable fans, a brand new air conditioning unit upstairs and 2 wall air conditioning units during the summer months. *The home and grounds of our property have stairs and uneven terrain in some areas. In addition, the Clawfoot tub requires a step up into it. Please keep these things in mind when booking. Please feel free to message us with any questions or any concerns in this regard. LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGMENTS AND AGREEMENTS: (1) COVID-19 When agreeing to book you are acknowledging the following: You understand that staying in a vacation rental could potentially expose you or your guests to Covid-19. You agree and understand that it is your responsibility to exercise care to protect yourself, such as assessing your own risks, which may include age, underlying health conditions, recent travel, possible exposure to COVID-19, doctor's recommendations, local, State and Federal recommendations. You represent that (i) to the best of your knowledge, you or any other member of your party are not currently afflicted with, and have not knowingly, within the last 14 days, been in contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, and (ii) you are not experiencing a fever, or signs of respiratory illness such as cough, shortness or breath or difficulty breathing, or other COVID-19 symptoms. You believe that you are not likely to transmit or contract COVID-19. (2) When agreeing to book, you are acknowledging that you have read through and agree to ALL of our house rules and information regarding our home. By booking, you release the Host of any and all liability. *A VIOLATION OF ANY OF OUR HOUSE RULES MAY RESULT IN LOSS OF YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT AND POSSIBLE IMMEDIATE EVICTION WITHOUT REIMBURSEMENT.
