Treat yourself to a brand new cottage with great views of the Confederation Bridge and beach access to the warm and shallow waters of the Northumberland Strait. The cottage is a perfect blend of old and new with modern amenities such as air conditioning and Wi-Fi balanced against beachy decor and shiplapped pine walls. Located centrally between the major cities of the Atlantic provinces, Bayberry Beach Cottage serves as a great hub for road trips as well. The cottage is situated at the end of a private lane. Outside there is a large, flat lawn ideal for playing outdoor games and two large decks that are great for lounging and outdoor dining. There is a shed with furniture and beach toys and stairs off the bank to access the beach (during the summer months). **Please note, direct beach access via stairs is not available until the summer, however there is access to the beach at the end of the lane, which is a short walk. Upon opening the back door, you will enter the hallway, which has access to 3 bedrooms and a full bath/laundry room. Down the hall you will find the open concept kitchen, living and dining rooms with great ocean views through the wall of windows stretching the full height of the A-frame. There is also access to the loft from the ships ladder in the living room. The loft serves as the fourth bedroom and lounging area. Murray Corner is a small rural town in southeastern New Brunswick just to the west of the Confederation Bridge. It is a great location for road tripping to many places in the Atlantic provinces: 10 mins to the Confederation Bridge and PEI 35 mins to the NS border 45 mins to Moncton, NB There is a general store/ gas station 2.5 km down the road to the west. They stock most basic necessities, a few groceries, and hardware. They have both regular gas and diesel. They also serve ice cream. There is a craft store across the street that is open during the summer that is stocked with many locally made items. The closest Liquor Store is in Port Elgin, which is just over a 20 minute drive. There is a fishing wharf 1 km down the road to the west. It is possible to purchase lobster here during the season. You can also launch a boat from here. Cape Jourimain Nature Centre is less than 10 mins away. There are several hiking trails, a lookout tower to view the Confederation Bridge, a free museum as well as a restaurant, cafe and gift shop. Pine Needles Golf Club is 30 mins away. There are 36 holes suitable for many different skill levels. You will need you own car to get around. There are no public transportation or taxi services nearby. **Due to current COVID-19 restrictions in New Brunswick, all visitors must be residents of New Brunswick. If you are looking for a 14 quarantine package, please inquire before booking** With warm summers and mild falls and springs, Murray Corner is a great seasonal getaway. Come enjoy the peaceful sounds of waves on the shore and feel the warm sand between your toes.
