Extremely rare find!! 3 en-suite bedrooms+private swimming pool (SELF-CATERING)Large,spacious vacation home,on 1 full acre,in a tropical garden,and quiet,secure upmarket neighborhood.Perfect for people who want to be a little removed from the tourist traps right by Sandals golf course(5 min walk))ideal for ,families or groups.Large patio doors .Wood or parquet flooring throughout.There is no washing machine available BUT we offer a laundry service(pick-up/drop off/wash-dry-fold 24 hr turnaround) This property is 20 years old and oozing with character BUT it does lack some modern touches AND there are a few minor maintenance issues as you might expect in a older home,but none that would negatively impact your stay(and the asking price has been reduced accordingly).IE Although not easily visible on the photo`s,there is an aesthetic issue occurring below the waterline,where the pool is in need of repainting,due to several dark marks tat are leftover from algae that has since been removed but left marks on the walls and floor of the pool(which we will get to during the off-season).Meanwhile the water is kept clean and sparkling and is maintained twice weekly when we are empty. and maintained once a week when we have guests who wish to have the pool cleaned during their stay There is a self-contained long stay apartment in the basement with it`s own private entrance that is rented separately. THE LAUNDRY ROOM DOES NOT INCLUDE A WASHING MACHINE--THERE IS NO WASHING MACHINE ON -SITE However the laundry room itself does house the irnoing board and a deep sink for handwashing and is in a sectioned off part of the basement space. Whenever the apartment is occupied,the long-stay tenant does have access to the laundry room area.Guests can use it freely,whenever they wish. Your host conveniently lives on the same street,so no worries about lost keys etc:-) While I respect your space and will not be making any unannounced visits,I am always available to offer any help,assistance or advice as required. Upton is a safe neighborhood watch community.During the day,almost anyone you meet either works at,is vacationing at or owns one of the neighboring (Website hidden by Airbnb) is uncharacteristically quiet for Jamaica and perfect for morning walks.NB:at the week-ends you may hear the sounds of reggae music wafting over from the next town across. local taxis are readily available,from right outside your front gate,or a five minute walk away to the taxi stop..we recommend letting us negotiate for you and selecting one or two reliable drivers,for the length of your stay,this way you get picked up and dropped off door to door. We are situated approximately 5 miles from multiple beaches and Ocho Rios town center...Taxi drivers are many and frequent in the area,and we are happy to negotiate with them,on your behalf,to ensure that you only pay local rates.
