This beautiful property is a short drive from world heritage sights, beaches, shopping, quaint South Shore villages and sightseeing - or is simply a serene place to savour the quiet life, sit by the pool and walk beside the ocean. There are also many lovely towns nearby, including Lunenburg (a UNESCO World Heritage site), Mahone Bay (30 minutes away) and Chester (40 minutes). You will need a car to reach the house and make the most of the local attractions. >> For shopping, there is a general store 5 minutes away in Rose Bay which carries basic items along with alcoholic beverages; it also has a restaurant. Lunenburg (20 minutes away) has a couple of supermarkets, but for serious shopping you will need to drive to Bridgewater (30 minutes). >>
