Good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids). Located in the Halifax Regional Municipality, 25 mins to Halifax & 20 mins to Peggy's Cove. Our home used to be an old post office and has been completely renovated and remodelled. Tons of character including original floors and beautiful wooden beams! Three bedrooms upstairs as well as a bathroom with shower/bathtub. The master bedroom has a king size bed, wall-mounted TV and plenty of space. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and bookshelf. The third bedroom has a fantastic bunk bed (two single beds) equipped with a slide! Downstairs features a large living room with plenty of seating and an electric fireplace, kitchen, dining room, laundry and second bathroom. Kitchen is equipped with oven/stove, microwave and fridge. Full size freezer and washer & dryer are nearby in the hallway. Our back deck has a large sectional sofa as well as a dining table and chairs to enjoy outdoor meals. The backyard has plenty of space to play, beautiful gardens, an oceanfront firepit! The property is lined with a brook on one side that runs into the ocean at the point. Take a paddle around the cove, there's a kayak here for your use! There are plenty of beaches nearby for sandcastles and beachcombing. Be sure to visit Peggy's Cove Lighthouse during your visit and all of the beautiful shops in the area. Queensland Beach is a very popular white sandy beach. Let us know if there's anything you need! We're within walking distance to both a wonderful bakery and a restaurant/pizza place! Grocery stores, pharmacies and gas stations are only three minutes away. Our home is located right on the ocean! Enjoy our large backyard and spend time on the point as the ocean tide comes in and out. Enjoy oceanfront bonfires in our firepit and have a backyard BBQ with an ocean breeze! We have a large driveway with plenty of parking space. We're located directly on the Peggy's Cove Rd, so we're close to the famous lighthouse! There are grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and shops 3 minutes away. There is also public transportation about 5 minutes away.
