Order freshly-made pastries from our Belgian neighbour Vera; have us make a range of savoury Jamaican specialties; take a surfing lesson 10 minutes away; swim to a South Seas-like island offshore our neighboring beach San San; take walks up our thickly wooded hill past beautiful houses. Disconnect and reestablish your connection with nature. Larger apartments and those with more expansive views available at higher rates. You have the full run of 12 acres of lawns, lushly-landscaped grounds, tennis courts, pool, and a terrace where you can have a drink, read, catch up on email, check out the news on our large TV, and watch the famous Doctor Bird hummingbird, only found in Jamaica, at our many feeders there. Port Antonio is the most lush resort area in Jamaica. It's nestled against the majestic Blue Mountains, home of some of the world's best coffee, and boasts waterfalls to climb up, such as Reach Falls; beaches like Winifred's, Frenchman's Cove, Long Bay, San San and Boston; the birthplace of 'jerk' seasoning; surfing; arguably the best diving in the country; hikes to waterfalls; fishing; terrific birdwatching; fishing; and a low-key, unhurried atmosphere from an earlier era. We overlook San San Beach, with a lovely island to swim to offshore. Fly into Kingston or Montego Bay airports and take the Knutsford Express intra-island bus to Port Antonio, and have our favourite driver Petey come pick you up there and take you ten minutes' drive to us. Kids 7-12 are $24, and 7-and-unders are free. • Our internet access is meant for email and basic web browsing; we can't provide bandwidth for video streaming. Do load up your devices with the movies and TV shows you've been wanting to see, and bring a cord to connect them to our 32" TVs for a larger screen if you like. • A tip to your cook/housekeeper is customary if you feel you've received good service. • We have larger apartments, and ones with more expansive views, available too - let us know what you'd like.
