La Jamaca is located in the southwest corner of the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico in the town of La Parguera, world famous for its Bio-Bay, Diving, Restaurants, Mangrove Canals and as a haven for Marine and Wild Life, offers its guest a unique pleasurable experience. The guesthouse, surrounded by rich well-maintained gardens and centered by striking picture perfect swimming pool makes you fill inside an oasis of peace and tranquility protected from the rush and noise of big cities. Our hotel is well known to be a relaxing place surrounded by nature. Our hammocks just simply call to take a break and enjoy the moment! We are close to town yet away from the crowd. The hotel features 16 rooms with ac inverters, private bathroom, satellite TV, iron, blower, fridge, free wifi in common areas, free parking. You can relax in one of our hammocks, enjoy the sundeck or just chill out in our heated pool! Great drinks an food in The Pineapple Bar and our Caribbean food restaurant! Also Enjoy the bio bay in Parguera, the cays, salt water pools, night life, artisans plus more! La Jamaca is only a one-minute drive to main street, 10 minutes walking. An oasis in the desert! At La Jamaca you can enjoy common areas such as the pool, decks, hammocks. Laundry can be done per request for an additional cost. Storage of food per request. Ice is available for a cost of $2.00 per bag. Housekeeping available daily but please help us protect the environment by following our conservation of energy and environmental policies. Think twice before requesting a room service or towel changes!!! Remember we are a green B&B! We host a restaurant El Patio de La Jamaca (open Thursdays-Mondays) with tasty Caribbean food for our customers and general public. From our famous Kan Kan pork chops, mofongos, fresh seafood, homemade hamburgers and more! Also, we host The Pineapple Bar (open daily from 3pm) where you can enjoy an awesome Piña Colada in a pineapple or drink the best mojitos in town! You will delight yourself around our pool in a relax and fresh environment. In the morning (Saturdays and Sundays) guests enjoy our breakfast for an additional cost and great coffee beside the pool as they prepare for a day of adventure. All at reasonable prices! Every Saturday we offer our guests with live music! from 6pm on. I cannot forget to mention Las Tinas. For an additional cost enjoy a relaxing experience in hot water bathtubs. Our offer is one hundred and seventy-five dollars per couple for 2 hours of private usage, marine salts with essential aromatherapy oils, a bottle of sparkling wine, cold cuts and relaxing music! Reservations can be done at check in per availability. We offer different room decoration options for that special moment! Ask about our anniversary and birthday offers! Note: Expect Quiet times after 11:00pm from Thursdays-Mondays. Peak hours are from 5pm-10pm. This is because our restaurant is opened, bar is opened and people are gathering around. Expect to hear people talking, having a good time and nice music. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are mostly quiet all the time since restaurant is closed. We have a limited parking at site. If it is full you can park on the surrounding areas. To move around in La Parguera you will need a car. There is no transportation system such as taxis or buses. La Jamaca is only a 10-minute walk to downtown or main street! There are employees from 7:30 am-10:00pm. Also an employee is on call 24/7 in case of further requests. La Parguera is a small fisherman town. It became famous for its bio-luminescent bay, its mangroves, cays, snorkeling, diving, among others. Expect a lay back atmosphere. Walk or jog around safely. Downtown (2 minutes in car from our place, walking 10-15 minutes) there are restaurants, bars, local artisans, music, souvenir shops among others. It is mostly crowded during weekends (Friday-Saturday-Sundays). To get to Parguera you need a car! on the west side of the island there is limited public transportation system, therefore, it is highly recommended to rent a car to move around! Once in downtown make sure to park on the public parking areas or private parking. Avoid parking on the street, to avoid police tickets! You will surely enjoy our facilities and La Parguera! Check in is from 3:00pm until 10:00pm. If you arrive after 10:00pm a code lock will be left at your door. Check out is at 12:00pm. -Guests must maintain a social distance of at least 6 feet away from other visitors. -You must use a tissue and/or disposable paper if you cough or sneeze. -Hands should be washed with soap and water on a regular basis. General Rules Terms and Conditions: 1. Requesting "late check out" is subject to availability. The client must contact the front desk. After 12:00pm you will be billed $30.00 per hour until 3:00pm. After 3:00pm you will be billed for the full day. 2.Room changes may have an additional cost. 3.At the time of check in the client must show identification and credit card provided in the reservation. 4.Only customers who provide a credit card will be allowed to open accounts in our restaurant. They must sign all receipts provided by our employees for open accounts. 5.Prior to check out the customer will be notified of any outstanding balances. If there are any outstanding balances, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be automatically billed. 6.The cost per lost key is $30.00. The cost for lost TV and A/C control is $50.00. 7.All rooms are inventoried and delivered clean. All damaged, vandalized or missing linens (towels, fitted, pillow, sheets, pillowcases, or other room items) will be charged a $10.00 charge. Comforters will be charged $30.00. Incidental charges will be billed manually to the credit card provided if necessary. 8.Please protect property. Damage to property will be billed to the customer according to the damage incurred to the credit card provided at the time of booking. 9.Estancia La Jamaca Inc. is not responsible for items or money lost on the property. Swimming pool 1. Hours are from 10:00am-10:00pm 2. You will be assigned an area for your belongings. 3. Towels for pool use must be requested at the front desk. 4. We do not have lifeguards. Swim at your own risk. 5. Using the pool outside the established hours is prohibited. If you do so, you will be notified and asked to leave the facilities without refund. 6. Use of the pool is for guests only. You must shower before entering the pool. Eating inside the pool is not allowed. Children are not allowed to run around the pool, in hallways or stairs. No hand games or pushing and shoving threats are allowed around the pool. Under no circumstances are children allowed alone in the pool without adult supervision. Rooms 1. All rooms will have signs certifying the cleanliness of the room, name of employee, time and date. 2. Room service (picking up bedding, set up, garbage disposal etc.) has been suspended for the safety of our guests and employees avoiding as much as possible physical contact and / or belongings of guests. Our maids will only provide room service in case of an emergency and if the guest is staying more than 3 nights. If you wish to change towels, please stop by the reception area, bring the used ones and place them in a basket. They will gladly be replaced. Facilities 1.We have implemented sanitation protocols committed to your safety, health and well-being. We will be regularly sanitizing chairs, tables, furniture, tops and anything else that comes in contact with people. 2. We have placed our furniture guaranteed 6 feet of social distancing. 3. We have set up hand sanitizer stations for your convenience. 4. We have labeled the property to raise awareness of mask use, social distancing and hand washing. Restaurant and Bar 1. Sanitary plates, silverware and glasses are available. 2. Tables will be free of any decorative artifacts or recyclable menus to avoid human contact. 3. You will be assigned to a table. Tables will be labeled identifying whether or not they have been sanitized. 4. Tables are set 6 feet apart. 5. Groups may be seated at the same table. Limit up to 10 people from the same group. 6. We will accept food orders over the phone. Once your order is completed, you will need to stop by the bar area and pick it up. 7. We will ask you, as you are able, to dispose of your own garbage generated both at the bar and in the restaurant. Recycling 1.We recycle plastic and aluminum. Please deposit in the appropriate blue bins. Utilities 1. It is recommended that all air units be kept at 72 degrees. 2.Air conditioning units and lights will be turned off while you are not using the room. 3.Please use your judgment in the use of electricity in the room by turning off lights when they are not needed and also use your judgment in the use of the energy-consuming irons and hair dryers. Use them wisely! Security 1. We have security cameras. They have been placed in public areas. No cameras have been placed in guest rooms, public restrooms, guest room bathrooms, and/or guest room balconies. These cameras have the facility to focus, wide field of view, record for 24 hours 7 days a week. Estancia La Jamaca Inc. assumes responsibility for the conservation and control of access and disposition of the recorded material. These cameras have been installed to ensure the safety of tenants, monitor the activities of tenants and employees. Coolers 1. The entry of refrigerators is prohibited. We have refrigerators in the rooms. Pets 1. Pets are not allowed only service ones. If you identify a pet in your room, your credit card will be billed fifty dollars per day. Noise 1. The use of personal loudspeakers is prohibited. Please be considerate of other guests and keep your tone of voice moderate both day and night. This way we can all enjoy a pleasant stay! Parking 1. Parking is free and limited. If parking is not available on the premises, you may park in the vicinity of the facility. We are not responsible for lost items inside the car and damage to your car. Limit up to 10 people from the same group. 10. We will accept food orders over the phone. Once your order is completed you must stop by the bar area and pick it up. 11. We will ask you as you are able to drop off your own generated garbage both at the bar and in the restaurant. Safety 1. Smoking Smoking is allowed on designated areas. No smoking allowed in the rooms. One hundred and fifty dollars to be charged to your provided credit card if smoking inside the room. Coolers Rooms have a small refrigerator. Coolers are not allowed within premises. Payments 1. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover credit cards. 2. We encourage you to use alternative payment methods such as ATH Mobile once you are in the facility and/or use the credit card provided with your reservation to make any charges.
