This cottage is located on the South Shore of Prince Edward Island just 13 minutes from the confederation bridge. It’s located beside Chelton Beach Provincial park. A quick four minute walk from the cottage down a private path and your on Chelton Beach. The beach is known to have some of the warmest water in PEI. We are only 15 min from Summerside and a 50 min drive to Charlottetown. We can also provide a Hot Tub for your stay for an added fee should you want one. Please inquire when booking. This property is on a private road currently shared by one other cottage. The cottage is an 1100 square ft 3 Bedroom mini home. It has 2 decks one on the front and back of the home. It offers lots of ample parking and a terrific view of the water. The grassy lane the cottage is on leads to a short private path that takes you directly to Chelton Beach. During the summer months the beach has full time life guards and has showers and bathrooms you can use. You also get an amazing view of the Confederation Bridge located just east of the beach. . Wake up every morning to the sound of the ocean waves and enjoy your morning coffee on either of the two decks. The front deck has almost 1000Sqft of sunning space so there’s lots of room to spread out.We also offer the use of a 4 person hot tub should you want one for your stay. Please let us know at times of booking. Lots of space to park and set up a little tent for the kids if you want. Fire pit is on site made of an old washer tub so it keeps the fire contained and offers free flowing air to keep it going. Great spot to roast marshmallows with the kids My wife and I will be around during your stay and are located only 20 minutes away in Cornwall. We have local service people that can address most any issue should it arise. The property is 10 min from an Internet cafe featuring fresh brewed coffee and tea. They also offer some home made deserts and ice cream. Summerside is 20 min West and Charlottetown is 50 min East on the #1 highway. Go left or right after leaving the village. Local seafood shops are only 15 min away. Il est très facile de naviguer dans l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard au volant d’un véhicule. Il y a 4 routes principales allant d'est en ouest qui peuvent vous mener de bout en bout. Toutes les routes se rejoignent quelque part et vous pouvez faire un bout d'île en cinq heures environ. Aucun réseau de transport en commun ne relie l'île. Nous aurons des cartes et des informations touristiques au chalet à votre arrivée. Nous aurons également un laissez-passer pour le parc de Cavendish Beach que nos clients pourront utiliser, leur donnant ainsi un accès gratuit à la plage et au parc pendant leur visite de l’île. The park is emptied and locked up at 9:00 pm every night.
