Sunny waterfront property at the most delightful spot between Jasper and Whistler/Vancouver: The Arcona House is the only guest accommodation in the area located directly on the 108 Mile Lake. Just a two minute drive off Highway 97 you will find yourself in a peaceful refuge within the most breathtaking scenery. If you are lucky, you will spot eagles hunting trout right in front of your window. Our enchanting Butterfly Room delights our guests with 19th century copper etchings. Our place is often described as the most beautiful property in the area. The house is situated right on the 108 Mile Lake, 80 km south of Williams Lake, about 500 km north of Vancouver. Our website ((URL HIDDEN) shows a map and directions. We are 2 minutes away from the Highway 97 (→ to Alaska). The Butterfly Room itself "sleeps" 2 (in a "queen size" bed), but -as you can see in other information- we have additional rooms and beds for a total of 8 guests. Separate entrance to guestrooms, common room; plenty of parking space on the lot. Unfortunately we do not have wheelchair access. We also welcome campers and mobile homes; please ask about fees. Host speaks German and English, likes to chat ... (in spite of that, we are known to have a rather quiet place). Guests may enjoy the manager's interesting library. We are about 2 car-minutes from Highway 97 - Cache Creek → Prince George ... → Alaska A Greyhound depot is 14 km away from us. The airports Williams Lake and Kamloops are about 100 or 200 km, respectively away from us. There is a community bus from 108 Mile Lake to 100 Mile House 3 times a day $135.00 price per night (double occupancy) for the Butterfly Room does generally not include breakfast(s) or other meals for our guests. (Kind exceptions to the rule may be made.) A refrigerator (+ dishes, glasses, cutlery, a coffee make) for the guests' use is / are available. Weekly and monthly rates are available on request. In consideration of other guests, we request the understanding that we do not wish to have "little guests" (children under 12) or any pets whatsoever in our house. We also welcome campers and mobile homes; please ask about fees. We provide electricity and water only, no other services - and the view over the lake.
