Newly built contemporary home located in the village of Port Hood, only 3 hours from Halifax. Just 30 min from Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs listed in Golf Digest as two of the greatest golf courses in the world. The surrounding area features 5 beaches, restaurants, and live Celtic music. Our cottage is ideal for couples, families, and Golfers. Due to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra steps to clean and sanitize all frequently touched surfaces between clients. We will have disinfectant available for you as well. Step into our open-concept main floor with fully equipped kitchen and patio doors leading to a large deck. This new modern home has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The main level has a queen bed, detached 4 piece bath, and laundry room. Moving up to the second Level there is a King Bedroom with an ensuite and an adjoining den. The den has patio doors that lead to a deck with ocean views and magnificent sunsets. Completing the 2nd level is a 3rd bedroom with 2 twin beds, a futon and a detached full bath. Guests will have access to entire house and property. Parking for 2 cars only, no trailers allowed in driveway and please do not park on main street. Sharon and Sandy will be available via text/email/phone or can make arrangements to meet . We are usually in the community all summer. The warm ocean waters come from the Gulf Stream (a powerful, warm ocean current) which originates from the tip of Florida and follows the Eastern coastline all the way up to the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Shallow waters combine with that nice warm current, et voilà!, you’ve got the best beach destination in Canada with waters reaching 24°C.
