Comfortable resort style condo - Directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Two swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, air-conditioned gym, sand volleyball court, kids playground, beach access, free parking for 2 cars and 24 hour security. Very close to some of Puerto Rico's best beaches. Our condo is directly on the Atlantic Ocean. It is steps from a private access beach. The condo complex has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, wifi, cable TV and the soothing sounds of the ocean waves. Playa de la Chalet has 2 pools, a jacuzzi, tennis courts, basketball courts, an air-conditioned gym and a sand volleyball court and, of course, direct access to the beach. Our private beach is a rocky reef, so it is best suited for snorkeling and sea kayaking. The world renowned public beach, Puerto Nuevo is a one mile walk or drive. Our local property manager, Sebastian. Sebastian will be available if anything comes up during your stay. Vega Baja has everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Within 2 minutes drive from the condo is Econo grocery store, a pharmacy and various sea food restaurants. The Vega Baja downtown area (5 min by car) has Walgreens, CVS, Super Max grocery store, various restaurants and fast food, and a hospital. This is a safe and gated condominium complex. While the complex has access to the beach (against a natural reef), there are some other beautiful beaches nearby you could explore. Playa Marbella (also knowns as Puerto Nuevo), Playa Los Tubos (great surfing spot, and a next to a prime area for snorkeling) and Mar Chiquita are less than a 10 minute drive. More information There are some neat little restaurants in a 10-20 minutes radius, and multiple groceries stores. If you wish to head to the city, the condo is accessible to the highway, and an easy drive from/to San Juan (~45min). A couple of miles out, there is a natural reserve (Cibuco Natural Reserve) and Lagoon (Laguna de Tortuguero), great for hiking, running and biking. Also, the complex as well as the beach area, have several running and biking trails. Other nearby places: -35-50 minutes from/to San Juan (Old San Juan, Castillo San Felipe, Castillo San Cristobal, Mall of San Juan, Condado, etc) -30-40 minutes from/to Arecibo (Observatory, La cueva del Indio, etc) -40-55 minutes from/to Camuy (Caves of Camuy) -5-15 minutes from/to Manati (Los Tubos, Mar Chiquita, Playa Poza de la Mujeres, etc) -15 minutes from/to Barceloneta (Premium Outlets) -45-55 minutes from/to Orocovis (Toro Verde Ziplining) We recommend you rent a car in Puerto Rico. Public transportation is not as reliable. Taxis, out of San Juan, are also scarce. Our condo complex is peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for beach parties and loud music, this is not the place for you. Only the people (6 maximum) are allowed in the condo complex. No additional guests may come to the condo.
