This historic house was a boarding house constructed in 1937. Spacious, wraparound views and convenient location in Old Town. Selfcheck-in unless you request otherwise for your stay. You have a private kitchen, parlor and dining area. The kitchen is stocked with breakfast essentials -- coffee, tea, milk, eggs, butter, oats, waffle mix and sausages. Help yourself to breakfast and cook your own meals at your leisure. This is a historic building in Old Town Homer, overlooking Bishop's Beach (a big, accessible beach where you can have campfires and long walks) and the Kenai Mountains. There are 3 private bedrooms, all with queen-size beds and one of the rooms has a twin be as well. There are several restaurants in short walking distance and two grocery stores. There is a Freewire electric vehicle charging station right next door at Aj's Steakhouse. Bishop's Beach Park and trails, Islands and Ocean Visitor Center and Homer Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center are all within a block. This lodging is the oldest in Homer, in Old Town, the quiet historic center. Like most of Homer, about six miles from the Harbor and the tip of Homer Spit and two miles from the airport.
