Our room provides the option for medium term stay with access to shared facilities in a safe, clean and friendly home-like environment for local and international visitors to Belmopan. Located near the center of Belmopan, in the vibrant San Martin Area, you can easily access restaurants, supermarket and other stores, as well as the University of Belize, embassies, and Government offices. We welcome you and look forward to helping you have a comfortable stay! This is a very central location in Belmopan. For people who like to walk as a workout, the 'Ring Road' is just two blocks away; many people go walking or jogging around it. The tennis court is about 5 minutes walk. Located in Belmopan City, Belize, Central America, Each of our bedrooms of this type has its own bathroom, and is perfect for a single person or a couple.. The room includes a full size (double) bed with spring mattress and pillows, clean linen, cable TV and internet. The shower has hot and cold water for your comfort. Complimentary access to shared kitchen, large yard, verandah and good WiFi, you can choose to relax outdoors as well. Within a couple blocks radius are located restaurants, corner store, bakery, supermarket, vegetable market and even the George Price Center for Peace and Development which hosts cultural events, lectures, workshops, and so on. The University of Belize is also about 3 blocks away. Belmopan is centrally located in the country; it has a multi-cultural population including a thriving expat community that participates in clubs, hashes, fund-raisers, and other worthwhile activities in the community. A city bus and taxis pass near the property making movement and shopping ultra-easy. Buses traveling to the North, South, East and West are accessible and affordable from Belmopan to other parts of the country. Our three basic rooms, the Sun Room (cream gold themed), the Rainforest Room (green themed) and the Sea Room (blue themed) are similar and can accommodate a group of three single or three couples in the three adjacent rooms, once they are available. You have access to the shared areas of the property including the interior corridor, the exterior verandah, the parking area, the yard, the kitchen and the dining area. My in-person presence is unpredictable, but I am extremely good and willing in engaging in two-way communication. I will respond almost immediately to any phone calls or messages through the phone or airbnb messaging system. I am available in person most days. This is a wonderful neighborhood, with a mix of old Belizeans and new Belizeans of different immigration eras, including the Chinese and Central Americans. Taxis and the "San Martin" route city bus pass on the street in front of the property making transport within Belmopan and to the main bus terminal easy. Walking around the entire Ring Road takes a brisk walker only about 45 minutes. A tentative time of arrival and departure is crucial, so I can always ensure a courteous reception and check-out. You will be asked to fill in a registration form upon check-in, something that is required by law. I am always willing to provide assistance with information on travel times and other visitor queries.
