2 beautiful rooms, each with separate entrance from the garden, and a separate private bathroom, in a tranquil villa, situated in a spectacular enclosed garden a few hundred meters from the road connecting the town of Palenque and its famous ruins. A calm, green oasis that is centrally located only minutes away from both Palenque town and Palenque National Park, but feels like stepping into a separate world. The house is in the middle of a large, enclosed compound, surrounded by landscaped lawns and gardens with fruit trees, a fish- and turtle-filled pond, and a tennis court. A multitude of tropical birds, including the famous scarlet macaws (guacamayas) visit us regularly, and a group of howler monkeys often passes through. Kitchen, dining room, garden, tennis court, laundry room Guests will meet and interact with Rodolfo, who lives in the house, upon arrival. He will show you where to park, your rooms, and the gardens, and will be available to answer your questions and give tips and advice on enjoying the region around Palenque, and to help with anything else you may need. He speaks Spanish. Aviram is a co-host, available by e-mail or texting to assist non-Spanish-speaking guests in English or Hebrew. A short walk to bars, hotels with pools, a mini-market and restaurants located along the road between Palenque and Palenque National Park. 2 minute walk to Alebrijes restaurant. 2 minute walk to Mini Super Balam. 7 minute walk to Cafe Fuga 10 minute walk to Monte Verde restaurant 3 minute drive / 20 minute walk to the ADO/city center. 5 minute drive to El Panchan/ entrance to the Palenque National Park. 10 minutes drive to the ruins. The road connecting Palenque town to the National Park is a 1-2 minute walk away, and itself has a lovely walking/biking path that can be used to reach both town and the park, and many destinations along the way. Public transportation (colectivo or private taxis) is easily accessible to the Park or to town along this road.
