This home is ideal for 2 or 3 families, a multi-generational family holiday, or as a relaxing gathering place with friends. The location is the best blend of privacy and community amenities. The home is surrounded by park, beach, Windermere Lake & Creek. It has unmatched lake and mountain views and privacy. It's in an established, premiere community of Windermere with a small town friendly vibe and services. We take extra care and time to clean and disinfect between reservations. This home has unique features that makes it extremely quiet and comfortable with excellent indoor air quality and highly efficient energy and water use. It's a short walk to the Windermere public beach and a shorter walk to the community's private beach and playground. It's a few steps off our lakeside deck to Windermere Creek and Lake or just lounge on the sunny deck. This is the ideal base to explore the Columbia Valley and is centrally located for Windermere, Invermere, Radium, Fairmont, and Panorama adventures. Walk, bike, or drive up the road to the Family Pantry for groceries, Hopkins' Harvest for fresh produce & pizza, and Ozzie's Amusements for mini-golf and go carts. It's a short drive within town to Saunders Family Farm for berry picking and Edible Acres Cafe. Windermere Valley Golf Course is a 10 min drive from the house. Boat rental and water skiing lessons are within walking distance in the nearby community. In the winter, walk out to the Lake to step onto the Whiteway for skating and cross-country skiing. Downhill ski at Fairmont one day and Panorama the next day as both are about a 20 minute drive. Enjoy the mineral hot springs at Radium or Fairmont or both! There are many, many trails for hiking, biking, and snowmobiling. You can spend a few hours floating down the river or rafitng or paddling. The home is close to several golf courses, including the premium Copper Point and Eagle Ranch Resort and family friendly Creekside and Coy's. The Kootenay National Park and Stanley Glacier Hike is less than an hour away. The ski town of Kimberly, city of Cranbrook, and Cranbrook Rockies International Airport are about an hour away. This home will not be rented for any type of party (Ie: bachelor/Stagettes, Grad, Etc). It will only be rented to families and groups over the age of 25 to enjoy a relaxing time in the Valley. This is a non-smoking home. The full damage deposit will be kept if these rules are contravened.
