Frequently Asked Questions: Use of the pool The pool is salt water and measures 15"x 35" with a small additional pool. At the moment, 3 couple are allowed in the area at a time. Description of the place; Habitats is building consisting of 5 floors with 3 rooms available at the moment. Each room is private and includes a private bathroom and balcony and entrance. The balcony of each room overlooks the pool and mountains of Juncos. Exteriors we have several spacious and relaxing areas. Each suite is perfectly designed with comfort and relaxation in mind. Furnished with queen size beds, organic cotton mattresses, bamboo soft linens, private bathroom with rain shower, balcony overlooking the pool and “El Yunque” rainforest. All with private entrance. On the ground floor, you will find our favorite spot “La Cueva” an indoor-outdoor area connected to a terrace that overlooks the pool area where guests can hangout, read a book or play some board games. Stepping out from “La Cueva” we have our "Under the Mango Tree" area. A garden covered by two mango trees. This area is peaceful for yoga, spacious for your favorite workout, and relaxing to feel the breeze. And if you love the day, wait until you see everything at night! Feel free to open a bottle of wine under the stars for a very romantic time. Guests can enjoy all the outdoor areas. To protect our plants and planet, smoking is not allowed on the property. There would be team on the property to assist you for anything you need during your stay. East-center side of the island, this region is home of El Yunque, known as the Caribbean National Forest. A must-visit, ranking as one of the most popular tourist destinations in Puerto Rico. The east coast of Puerto Rico not only offers beaches, but also beautiful nature reserves and is known to be breeze all year around. -El Salto del Hippie is a river located (35 min away) in the town of Naguabo -Catch the ferry from Ceiba (45 minutes away) to the outlying islands of Vieques and Culebra, both known for their spectacular beaches, snorkeling spots and spectacular views. -The Humacao reserve offers bike rentals, kayaking, paddle board, hiking trails, which have many interesting stops for bird watching and just observing nature. Keep an eye out for hummingbirds, egrets and orioles buzzing around the mangroves and hibiscus trees. - Fajardo (45 min away against traffic) catch a day trip to one of our little islands ( Icacos, Palomino, Palominito, Culebrita) for a day in the water, snorkeling and snacks. 5 minutes by car depending on traffic. - Walgreen - 2 Supermarkets - Gas station - The highway - *Local cafeteria - Shopping mall - Local options to eat, food trucks and fast foods. - ATM 15 minutes away by car - 2 Shopping Malls (Las Piedras and Plaza Centro) - Cinema - Humacao Natural Reserve (kayak, paddle board, hiking trails and bike ride) - Cayey (22 min) a very beautiful scenery and places to eat our typical food - 54 min from El Yunque rain forest I recommend to rent a car to be able to enjoy what the island has to offer. Most of our natural beauties are spread around the island and can get difficult to see them otherwise. Getting to the property is very simple and 35 minutes away for the airport.
