We are offering ‘suite’ accommodations in our newly revamped basement. Our space is set up as a bedroom suite with sitting area that includes a double sofa bed, eating nook, full kitchen & full bathroom. We chose the name ‘Little Geata’ to emphasize that our modest abode is situated in the quaint community of North Sydney, also dubbed ‘The Gateway to Newfoundland’. Little Geata is a suite in our home. There is a private back door entrance with a key code lock. Guests will enter a small back porch area and use the stairs to enter the suite on the left hand side. It is a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette, lounge area and full bath. Your stay will be as private as you want it to be. Our space has a private entrance with a keypad as to allow guests to come and go at their leisure. We, as host, will be available for any questions or concerns upon request. We are 2 km from Marine Atlantic aka Newfoundland Ferry, also 5 min drive to Seaview Golf & Country Club!! We also provide a list of great restaurants and hiking trails & beautiful beaches. We are in walking distance to North Sydney Harbour and shopping facilities like Walmart, grocery stores, and eating establishments; however, it is much easier to get around Cape Breton if you have a vehicle, as it is a larger area to explore.
