Our Cozy & Rustic Fairmont Getaway

Large house located on Creekside Golf course. Rustic/Cozy decor. Can accommodate large groups! Outdoor adventure paradise with Fishing, Boating, Skiing, Hiking & relaxing hot pools only minutes away! Our vacation home is great for family gatherings. There are 4 bedrooms and a total of 8 beds in the home! (Please note- what is listed as "bedroom 5" on the listing is actually a basement common area and NOT a private bedroom) After a day of skiing or golfing you can relax in front of the wood stove or out on the deck. There is lots of room for relaxing. There is a large deck with a barbeque for guests use and patio table with chairs for eating outside. We have a wood stove to relax in front of plus a fire pit in the backyard. (Fuel, firewood not included) All areas of house and yard are for your use! We are available via text or phone. We are not generally in the neighborhood all of the time but have a caretaker who keeps an eye on things. We are within minutes of the world-famous Fairmont Hot Springs, Canada's largest, odorless, natural, hot springs and a hot springs water fall that you can swim under. (Unfortunately the hot spring pools are closed to the public at this time) There are many hiking and cross-country ski trails within walking distance. Walk to Mountainside Golf Course or Creekside Golf course or get in your car and visit one of several other golf courses in the Columbia Valley. There are several ski resorts nearby Fairmont's own ski resort is just a short 10 minute drive. Panorama Resort is about 1 hour, Lake Louise, Fernie, Sunshine, Golden, and Kimberly Ski Resorts are all within a two-hour drive. Columbia Lake and Lake Windermere are 20 minutes away for boating, swimming and other water sports. There are also many children's amenities close by including Funtasia (minigolf, bumper cars, petting zoo, etc) , bouncy castle, playground, etc. The area boasts many restaurants from fine dining to fast food, or buy your own groceries/liquor/supplies at the grocery store only a few blocks away! *See check out Instructions/tasks in "House Manual". We appreciate you taking a few minutes to do some small tasks before leaving the home. As well as dropping your garbage at the refuse station. Instructions are in the manual. * firewood, food, bbq fuel, etc is not supplied. Sometimes guests leave some behind and you may feel free to use if that is the case.
