Lakefront Paradise

At Lakefront Paradise you will enjoy a 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms, outdoor kitchen facilities, various balconies, gazebo and beautiful wooden decks. Terrace on the second floor with a panoramic view of the lake. The price is for 2 people one room, if you were to use the two rooms, you have an additional charge. Within the 18 acres of our property you can enjoy exploring a coffee plantation, bird watching, walking trails with abundant fruit trees, tropical flowers, lush vegetation and total privacy to enjoy our secret paradise. Throughout the Hacienda you will notice that great care has been taken into protecting our flora and fauna. Surrounded by nature of Carite Forest, hidden in the quiet and peaceful mountains of Cayey you will enjoy the spectacular full moon, sunrise and sunsets that Lakefront Paradise has to offer. Hiking, kayaking,fishing, writing, creating, meditating, honeymooning or just plain resting, this is an ideal setting for travelers looking to get away from the customary tourist lifestyle. Situated at the edge of Lake Carite, located high in the mountains within the Carite Forest in Guayama neighboring the city of Cayey, this is perfect for those looking to explore Puerto Rico without spending a fortune. You will truly feel that you are away from it all yet are only a 40 min ride from San Juan or Ponce on expressway 52. We will most likely be off-premises for most of your stay here. Occasionally I can be working on the Hacienda but it will not interfer with your privacy. We will welcome you , show you around, get you set up and be on-call for any needs you may have, otherwise you will be on your own. Surrounded by lush mountains you will have privacy as no one else will be staying with you. The neighbors are good people. Most have a remote view of the cabin from their homes. They keep to themselves, so you can expect total privacy while enjoying the harmony of nature. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Although the drive to the cottage is not very steep, 1 /3 of the road can become precarious if raining. We recommend a four wheel drive as a rental option although a regular rental will do fine. Arrival time should be no later than 6:30 pm, exceptions can be made although not recommended since it gets very dark on the road to the cottage
