This breezy and bright one-bedroom villa includes a huge patio that overlooks the Caribbean, elevated ceilings and easy access to the beach. Enjoy a stocked kitchen, open living area, gorgeous bedroom, updated bathroom & a private pool for a taste of Antiguan living! Certified by the Ministry of Tourism. This villa truly accommodates indoor-outdoor living with French doors that open onto the spacious patio, an additional balcony off of the bedroom, high ceilings and louvered windows throughout. Opening the doors & windows to the second-story space allows the trade winds to sail through the villa on warm Antiguan afternoons. The bedroom includes a California King bed and the living area features a daybed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals, and the full-sized fridge will hold all the groceries you need for your stay (and lots of Wadadli). The beautiful bathroom features a large shower and double vanity. Guests will have private access to the villa and shared access to the pool and lush grounds. The property is very quiet & peaceful and the few neighbors are rarely seen. Unless we are on island at the time of your arrival, we will arrange for you to receive access. You will receive details about keys and local contacts once the property is booked, and will have the space to yourself. Lush Life is perched above Dickenson Bay, one of the longest & most popular beaches in Antigua. That means you'll have easy access to a beautiful beach, nearby restaurants & bars and local amenities (massages, jet skis, boat tours, horeseback riding, grocery stores, movies, pharmacy - anything you could want - within a five minute walk or drive) and your own private space. Just above us sits the boutique Tradewinds Hotel, and noise can sometimes be heard from the restaurant on certain nights of the week. Otherwise, the area is extremely serene and private. What we truly think is amazing about this area is that these amenities are coupled with the beautiful quiet of the neighborhood. Sitting on the patio at night, you'll see the North Star shining brightly, hear the wind blowing the palm fronds, notice frogs croaking in the background, and in a moment of peace you'll hear the waves crashing on the beach. It's truly peaceful. We recommend renting a car for your stay, as a walk down to the beach is quite manageable, but the trip back up is for the truly fit! Additionally, exploring Antigua is one of the most fun things you can do on the island, since it's small size makes the incredible diversity of micro-climates and numerous beaches easily accessible in an afternoon's drive. A designated parking space is provided, and we provide directions from the airport for your rental car or taxi upon booking. Additionally, we're happy to make recommendations for rental car companies at that time. Buses are available on the island intermittently, but you may end up waiting a while for one. We will provide a detailed booklet of information about Antigua and the Dickenson Bay area once your booking is confirmed, and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
