Facilities are quiet, comfortable, spacious, and economical. Neighborhood is quiet and well-kept. Easy access to Interstate highway. Great restaurants and convenient shopping. Our home has a study/reading room that is always available to guests. A full kitchen is available to guests 24/7. There are no boundaries or "red lines" that limit the freedom of guests. We want to interact with our guests and help them feel comfortable. We are glad to assist guests in becoming familiar with the community, e.g., services, shopping, special events, sports, tourist attractions, etc. We have lived in the area for more than 30 years and pretty much know the way around the city of Houston and its surroundings. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The subdivision was constructed about 14 years ago. Our house is equipped with an alarm system, an indoor motion detector, and three outside security cameras. There is a large yard that guests are welcome to use. We are located next to an interstate highway (I288), but not so close that traffic noise is a problem. Depending on traffic flow, we are about 20 minutes from downtown Houston and 30 minutes from Galveston and the Gulf Coast. NASA is 25 minutes away and tours are conducted daily. Great shopping is within minutes away. The home gym is open to guests. It is equipped with a stationary bike, treadmill, flat and incline bench, leg press, lat machine, ab machine, lower back machine, curling bench, and a fairly good assortment of dumbells and barbells. It is small but functional.
