Cabin in the Garden, island getaway

Welcome to the Huckleberry house, a private cabin 3 minute drive from the ferry and within walking distance to the shops in Quathiaski Cove (10 minutes) and the ferry (15 minutes) Your private cabin is in the garden area of our backyard. Our house/cabin are nearby, but your cabin is its stand alone structure. It is common to see Bald eagles and Ravens soaring overhead and deer grazing in the yard. Great launch point to explore all the amazing adventures Quadra has to offer ! Cozy seating area and desk/office space in the front of the cabin, fully separated from the sleeping/kitchen and dining area. Private deck off your country kitchen area to watch the sunset due west. The space is full of wood and gets wonderful light. We work hard to reduce our environmental footprint and use eco cleaning products, led lighting and have mostly organic cotton towels/linens You have the full cabin to yourselves and the cabin does have the two separate parts 1) kitchen/dining area with the deck off the back 2) entrance room with love seat and very simple office desk/chair We will be on-site and nearby in our house, but will be sure to give you your privacy and space, especially to ensure covid safety. Only 600m from Aroma Cafe and Farm to Table featuring Delicious meals ~ Fresh baked goods ~ Local organic grocery. There is forest on 2 sides of the property and our garden in the yard with various fruit trees. Rebecca Spit provincial park is only a 10 minute drive away Car is the best way to explore Quadra as there is no public transportation, but our cabin is within walking distance of arriving on the ferry from Campbell river (Up hill walk)
