PLEASE read the entire description!! If you like to be in contact with nature this is the right place for you. Chalet Olas del Sol is a very cozy, warm, comfortable, rustic and spacious Chalet steps away from the beach. If you want a soothing retreat while you explore our island full of history and natural beauty this is the place to stay. It has a large balcony to enjoy the relaxing view of the beach. Contemplate a beautiful sunrise or sunset in Punta Santiago while you relax in a hammock. This comfortable and cozy chalet has open spaces, high ceilings, natural light surrounded by palm trees, blue skies and the Caribbean Sea. A living room with a sofa bed (sleeps 2), TV with Roku system, ceiling fan, one large room with a queen bed (sleeps 2), ceiling fan and closet with mirrors. A second large room with twin beds (sleeps two), closet with mirrors and ceiling fan. A full kitchen with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and everything you need from pots, frying pans, crockery, utensils, oil, salt and pepper. The oven is not available. One bathroom with toilet, sink, shower. A balcony with a hammock and table with chairs. The guests will have the aprtment for themselves. I'm bilingual who speak English and Spanish. I live in the property in case of an emergency or any assistance needs by guests. Cindy’s home is located in Punta Santiago, Puerto Rico. Humacao is the east coast’s largest city featuring beaches, lagoons, Natural Reserve, with bird watching trails, bike trails and kayaking. If you like to be in contact with nature visit the first Eco Touristic Natural Reserve in Humacao Puerto Rico where you can go for a walking tour, kayak and bike rentals. Enjoy a walk on the beach, talk to the local fisherman, visit the Pescaderia which is 3-minute walking distance. Once you get there you can pick your favorite fresh fish and enjoy cooking it yourself. On the weekends you can enjoy from the “chinchorreo” which is when you visit small and rustic places to have a good time while you eat and drink with family or friends at affordable prices. Dance at the rhythm of live music (salsa, merengue, bachata) in the local kiosks near of our place. You will need car transportation to move yourself around to visit places like: The Naguabo Malecon is about 10 mins in car. Where you can find plenty of nice restaurants and you can go for a snorkeling adventure too. Natural Reserve is 2.8 km which is 5 mins away in car El Yunque National Rainforest is 45 mins The town of Fajardo 35 mins in car Roosevelt Ferry Terminal in Ceiba which takes you to Culebra and Vieques is 30 mins in car Walking distance to some bars, restaurants, postal office, bakery and grocery store. You will need car transportation if you plan to visit other places or towns. It is 30 minutes away from the ferry in Ceiba where you take it to go to Culebra and Vieques. *NO parties allowed. (NO EXCEPTIONS) *Prohibido fiestas (NO EXCEPCIONES) *NO loud music *NO musica con alto volumen Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic Puerto Rico is under lockdown. At the moment there is a curfew from 12 am - 5 am. The grocery stores, banks, gas stations and pharmacies are open from Monday - Sundays. So far some touristic landmarks are open to the public including the ferry trips to Culebra and Vieques. There is an Executive Order that specifically deals with people who arrive in Puerto Rico from the United States or any International destination. Passengers arriving at Luis Munoz Marin Airport shall remain under quarantine of a period of 14 days in accordance with the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention of the Department of Health of the United States and the World Health Organization. There are some exceptions for passengers who arrive to carry out emergency response work, or critical infrastructure work, essential service and medical equipment repair, health professionals, flight crew, aviation mechanics, federal agents, on-duty military and any other personnel timely determined by the Department of Health, shall be exempt from complying with the provisions included in the 1st and 2nd Section of the Order.
