Studio 16. Garden base for encountering Kingston.
This ground floor flat is situated in a quiet, private and secluded garden with nature all around. There's plenty of space to use in the garden for reading or relaxing with a drink. A courtyard just outside the flat is all yours. The sun streams in in the mornings and then moves off. It's conducive to work if you like to work from home and don't mind the feel of nature all around. The flat is modern with a slightly retro feel. Ideal for two weeks upwards. In the midst of Kingston's vibrant life and noise, Studio 16 provides a quiet note when you return to base. Easy parking just by the flat should you hire a car. I'm an artist and therefore rather like the seclusion but I do passionately want guests to enjoy Jamaica and do have a lot of information to pass on should you need any advice or assistance in knowing how to approach your stay. I'd be so happy to oblige. Our neighbourhood-the Liguanea area of Kingston- is safe and very well situated for all nearby amenities including four supermarkets, four coffee shops, pharmacies and hardware. Historic Hope Gardens is nearby and we are on the beat for a steep walk and look-out which is quite a challenge. There are many fast food outlets and cook shops nearby as well as a variety of restaurants. The 68 bus stops 25 yards from our gate and takes you to the University of the West Indies and the University of Technology in one direction and downtown Kingston in the other. Other buses to all other directions are only ten minutes walk away. Walking is quite easy in this neighbourhood though can be hot. Taxies can be called easily and come quickly.
