Welcome to the Carriage House on Caroline, located in Burlington's charming and historic South End Lower Hill Section. We are ideally located on a quiet residential street, walking distance to Church Street Marketplace, Burlington Waterfront and much more! The Carriage House apartment B is a recently renovated apartment with private entrance, Brazilian cherry floors, full bath, queen bed, pull out queen size couch, full gourmet kitchen with all your cooking essentials, and a private outdoor patio with table--a great place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. The living room features a 32” flat-screen TV loaded with a premium cable package that includes HBO, Showtime and countless other networks and channels. There are beach towels on the back porch of the main house, and a safe place to park your bikes. There is a park at the end of the street with tennis courts, community gardens, dog friendly play areas, local sports to view, and children's playgrounds. We are here when you need us, and happy to help. Our guess is you want your privacy, which you will have. We are ideally located on a quiet residential street in the five sisters neighborhood, just a short walk to beautiful Lake Champlain, busy cafes, wonderful restaurants and world class breweries. The South End Hill Section is Burlington's most vibrant neighborhood, with beautiful original homes, historic architecture, lovely city parks, lively art scene and many shopping options. There is off street parking conveniently located in front of the Carriage House. If you choose to leave your car, walk or bike down to the beach or downtown to catch the free Sunday concerts at Battery Park. There are three bikes on the property to ride at your own risk ;) For rental Suggestions: Ski Rack$$, North Star Sports$$, Local Motion (operator lives on my street!), Outdoor Gear Exchange$$, and Alpine Shop $$$ are walking distance. The City bus has stops on Shelburne Road, one block to the east. Many quests also take Uber or cabs to their destinations. Parking is available in Burlington in the garage or on city streets. You may want to download the parking meter app and refill the meters conveniently from your phone. We also have a one-wo/man sea kayak parked on a local beach that you are welcome to rent if requested providing the signing of a waver for risk. The south end is a family neighborhood. Although it is very close to town and the University, it is very quiet and quaint. Citizen Cider, Arts Riot, Dedalus Wine Shop, Tomgirl Juice Company, Great Harvest Bakery, Zero Gravity Brewery, Queen City Brewery, Champlain Chocolates, Lunaroma Aromatic Apothecary, New World Tortilla, a thriving Arts community, are all within a few blocks just to name a few of the neighborhood highlights. Most houses are on small lots built in the late 20's and 30's and are designated Historic by the Registry of Burlington.
