14 min drive to Lunenburg. We have 2 rooms to choose from. Look in the space to see links. Our home sits on a grassy slope above one end of Spindlers Beach. It has breathtaking views of Lunenburg Bay and the twinkling lights of the town of Lunenburg across the water. Besides Spindlers, famous for its beach glass, there are more than a dozen beautiful sandy beaches to explore and enjoy within a short drive. Ask about Sand-dollar beach, a local favourite! We are LGBTQ2SA+ friendly. Seaside is a charming unique room with a vaulted ceiling. The solid handmade pine bunk-bed, which offers a double on the bottom and single on top, sits nestled in a cozy nook. There is an optional single mattress ready to pull out onto the spacious floor and sleep another personal comfortably. This room has a spacious and full-stocked bathroom. Children under 19 stay free. We have something to suit travellers of all kinds. Our other two rooms include: Beach view Suite ~A romantic getaway suite for the couple looking to shed the city life and embrace their true beach-combing ways. Or for anyone just yearning for the taste of salt water on their skin, soft sand between their toes, or the magic that only the ocean can bring. All linens are hung out to dry in the fresh ocean air and are a delight to fall down on after a day out adventuring. Fresh in-house baked goods, coffee, tea, and juice await guests to enjoy at their leisure each morning. There's a large dinning room and a large family style living room, with board games, entertainment system, and a warm fireplace for the late nights counting the stars., along with a large deck outside, full of comfy furniture to lounge on, relax, and take in the stunning view. Homemade baked goods, help start your day off on a great note. And our quality local roast coffee will try its best to drag you from your cozy bed. If you are looking for something to do, we can recommend many local sight-seeing spots, incredible eats and treats, music and other activities. Or just kick back, relax, and stroll the beach, exploring the ever-changing South Shore of Nova Scotia. Maritimer pro-tip: Ask us for the tide schedule, so you'll know when the Sand-dollars are in. Low tide gives much area for beach glass searching! Guests are welcome to borrow beach chairs, toys, beach blanket, towels, cooler, etc. for a day at the beach. My goal for starting our B&B was to create an environment in which I could experience many meaningful connects everyday. I love to share the beautiful abundance in my life. Sharing, helping others, and spending time with children give me so much joy. We are a quiet family that likes to socialize with others who wish to do so. We have a large home we love to share and lots of space for family and guests. Some evenings we will host beachfires when weather and time permit. We can recommend great places to explore, festivals, entertainment and fantastic dining. Lots to see and do in the great outdoors on the South Shore of Nova Scotia! The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area located on a peninsula with minimal traffic. More likely to hear waves than cars. Spectacular views await every turn of the twisty road. Many cyclists and surfers are drawn to our idyllic shore. We are renting space in our family home. We are friendly and quiet and would like to share our home with others like us.
