The village is small and very quiet, accommodating a number of vacation rental homes, but also friendly, year-round neighbors. Cows and sheep are often seen on the hilly pastures and wild fruit (raspberries, blackberries, blueberries and apples in season) are there to be picked throughout the summer and fall.
