Unique experience in PR! You should be an experienced outdoor rock climber to book this stay!, be able to top rope climb and tope rope belay each other from the ground and from the portaledge. You will be tested. Automatic belay device required. To get to the portaledge you need to rock climb about 45 feet from the ground. We provide all the necessary climbing gear and portaledge setup. Price is for 2 guests. Also included: kitchenette & bathroom. Portaledge is about 50 ft from your parking. This is the only place in the island where you can sleep in a cliff and secured. 🧗‍♂️We will provide you with parking at a few steps of the area. 🧗‍♂️🧗‍♂️The Portaledge is 2-person tent specially built (Black Diamond) to hang it in the rock cliff. We will set it up for you along with a rope for top rope climbing. The rope will be set up at different but very close anchor from the portaledge’s anchor for additional safety precautions. It is located at about 35 feet from the ground. Check here: (Website hidden by Airbnb) What to bring to the portaledge: 🎒📝 1- If its summer-fall time it will be very nice to have a battery powered little fan. Although both sides of the portaledge have zippered doors and ventilation is good. We can provide this at no cost if you don’t have it. 2- Bring water, snacks.. No Alcohol!!! of any kind. 3- The portaledge is hanging thus its not in the solid ground, you will not need a sleeping pad. You can bring a sleeping bag but again if its summer-fall time we can provide you with a bed sheet and that should be enough. 4- Bring headlamp. Your hands should be free of stuff, you will be climbing and belaying. A small daypack is more than enough. 5- Clothes, towel and other things that you will not be using at the portaledge can stay in your car or in a designated area. Car is 50 feet away from you or so. Please use it if you are within 6ft of another person. We will explain the camping details and then you will get your personal items and organize yourselves. RULES!!!!!!✨ 1- Silence hours: 10pm- 7am 2- We will provide with utensils you need, please don’t take anything with you. 🍽 3- Do not harm plants or animals living around. Pets are not allowed. 4- You can’t drink alcohol and climb, not here. Sounds crazy, imagine trying it! 5- Please if you are going to eat/drink something try your best not to spill it. 6- Do not flush toilet paper🧻🚽 7- Campfire should not be left ❌🔥unattended. Beers and food available for purchase. Roca Norte is located at the end of a neighborhood where the karstic forest dominates the landscape, being home also of many endemic and native species. Here you can do bird watching in the mornings and afternoons. You can also see bats in the afternoon coming out of the nearby caves. At this town there are no bike lanes, the safest way to get around would be to rent a car. You can also get Taxi Services. Very limited or none Uber cars around. This is a private property, unique spot.
