Beach House at Parlee Beach

5 minute walk to Parlee Beach in Beautiful Pointe-du-Chêne. Open concept kitchen has everything you will need. Guests can enjoy dining on the back deck or inside at our large dining table. The screened porch on the front is fantastic for games in the evening and coffee in the morning. Our grass backyard has a fire pit for enjoying a campfire. AIR CONDITIONING, internet TV’s, wifi, sound system, washer and dryer, beach chairs & toys, bikes, and parking for two cars complete the experience. Wetlands and beach are at the end of our street, about a 1 minute walk, and Parlee beach provincial park is a 5 minute easy walk away. Parlee beach is a great place to take a walk or enjoy the sun. We have all the beach stuff for you to borrow - chairs, boards, sand toys, umbrella, towels. You’ll be amazed at the variety of activities offered at this provincial park, including a lifeguarded swimming beach, volleyball courts, restaurant and canteen. The Town of Shediac is a 5 minute drive, 10 minute bike ride, or 25 min walk away. It is known as the Lobster Capital of Canada and is home of the World's Largest Lobster as well as wonderful restaurants, grocery stores, and the famous Sunday market. There are more than 12 kilometres of trails and bike paths nearby and we have a selection of bikes and helmets for you to borrow. The downturn Shediac to Pointe-du-Chêne trail follows an old railbed out to a walking bridge over a cove in Shediac Bay. The cove is a 2 minute walk from the cottage. Other trails take you through the woods to Parlee Beach. The Pointe-du-Chêne wharf is a 5 minute walk away as well. Here you can get a meal or an ice cream, watch the fishermen, book a harbour cruise, or simply enjoy the sunset. The city of Moncton is a 30 minute drive away with big box stores, mall, casino, and Magic Mountain Water Park. Further along the coast, if you like exploring by car, you will find many more beautiful beaches, parks, and interesting towns.
