The Bluebonnet is one of 6 cabins in a 1940's Motor Lodge. Each cabin is inspired by a Texas Wildflower. Over the years Wildflower Lodge has changed names and decor but the history has stayed the same. Several names such as Conrad Hilton, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Johnny Cash have been rumored to stay at this humble abode in the early years. San Saba is known for its hunting and fishing but there are so many other things to do in the area and is a springboard for parks, shopping. This 725 sq ft space has a fully outfitted kitchen, large farm table for dining, living room with sleeper sofa. There is a ‘cupboard under the stairs’ with a twin daybed, games, costumes, books, and cards. Upstairs there is a sitting area, two queen beds, and a bathroom with a double sink. This room has two TV’s one of which is a Roku which allows you to access to various APPs to watch your favorite shows. This suite fits 4 comfortably, and 7 cozy. We are conveniently located on the main street of San Saba, TX just minutes away from downtown. Shops, winery, and restaurants are a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away. There is parking available in front of your cabin. We ask that you park at an angel to allow for more guests to fit in our parking lot. Please do not park all the way to the door of your cabin. You MUST leave room for emergency vehicles. We ask that you leave at least 6 feet between your vehicle and the steps. Management is not on sight but available by phone. The property manager can available in person only in emergency situations. If you are checking in after 8:00pm you MUST make arrangements prior with owner. We have contactless check in and although we check our locks regularly there may be an unforeseen issue that may arise. We are conveniently located on the main street of San Saba, TX just minutes away from downtown. Shops, winery, and restaurants are a 2 minute drive or a 10 minute walk away. If you turn left out of our parking lot you will head towards downtown, If you turn right you will head towards several pecan orchards and Richland Springs. You can walk to down town in about 10 minutes or you may drive in 2 minutes. Please do not park all the way to the door of your cabin. You MUST leave room for emergency vehicles. We ask that you leave at least 6 feet between your vehicle and the steps.
