We are located - ->10 miles/minutes from Downtown Talkeetna ->4 miles/minutes from the Parks Hwy. Turn to our cabin at the mile 4 marker of the Talkeetna Spur Road. ->45 minutes south of Denali State Park and ->2.5 hours south of Denali National Park by car but it’s a “must see” from the air! GETTING AROUND- a car is needed. There is a Taxi and currently the fee one way (10miles) is $30 (2017). The local shuttle service is Sunshine Transit. Bikes can be rented in Talkeetna and there is a bike bath that spans the entire Talkeetna Spur Road. We are 10 miles from the end of the Spur Road and downtown Talkeetna. Additional comforts include a TV and DVD player with DVD library, games, books, and magazines. Most guests enjoy the outdoor areas which include the covered front porch, sunny side deck, and lawn. We have three different seating areas outside! Average stay is four nights. Talkeetna offers many activities! -There are fabulous restaurants, food trucks, food stands and cafes to enjoy for every budget near by! No Wifi or cable. We kindly ask for No Smoking on property. We live next door and we enjoy Alaska’s fresh air! *Property Owners live next door. **Entrance is located on the second level.
